At least that is the version our smiley is supposed to say

Curious if the ranges have changed; I have more than two (2) posts, and
I am still a lurker. I just say this not because I care about the "title" but
seeing if the "switch" was brokeded. (I am assuming it's automated.) -
Curious if the ranges have changed;
…Nope - not at all. There seems to be a flaw that in some cases the group name (Lurker) does not change, while the "honor stars" do change - you had the "Lurker" title and one star which is actually a contradiction in itself

I can (and do) fix the effect of this flaw when I can see it or after a user let me know about this happening - so I fixed your case too

I have more than two (2) posts, and
I am still a lurker.
…Not any longer

I always used Read The Fibrous Material, then would explain that paper is made of wood fibers…
The strangest thing I got back from a customer was while they were reading back the settings from their terminal... "X-On, F-Off" (for flow control, the usual term is xon/xoff)
I almost fell down laughing!
-
…
"X-On, F-Off" (for flow control, the usual term is xon/xoff):haha: :lolp: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Who gave you permission to read the help desk requests ??? (joke)

:rotfl: :funny2: :rotfl: :funny2: That's freaking hilarious.

:)Not sure if I got it right, I made 14 posts + 1 topic && I'm still a Lurker… Is there something more I have to do??? Do I have to get reputation from other users??? I have 35 repu so far... ??? ??? ??? -
Just curious, what's a "Gay Leaders - 3 green stars"?
-
:)Not sure if I got it right, I made 14 posts + 1 topic && I'm still a Lurker… Is there something more I have to do??? Do I have to get reputation from other users??? I have 35 repu so far... ??? ??? ???This is sometimes caused by a system glitch, which has affected some accounts. I have brought this to the attention of an Admin to have this corrected to have the correct title come up for your user class.

The stars are a rating system based on rank. In the case of 3 green stars for Gay Leader, simply means that the user who made that forum post, or who'se profile you're looking at is a moderator on another gay torrent site. Gay Leaders are a unique class as they help us communicate with the different torrent sites to help with a number of things, including notifications of site downtime, warning of user activity to be cautious of, etc.
-
That are staff members of other gay torrent sites, with which we are in a friendly competition. Some of our staff got that status on their respective sites, too.
That user class got access to a special forum section for exchanges between them and us. Else they got no extra bonus, besides the "stars".
For example it was already helpful to help members with login issues, when a site is temporarily not reachable etc …

Geee thanks thanks ;D

I guess the glitch in the system is still present.
I have a yellow star and more than 2 posts, and I'm still a Lurker.
Can you please fix my case too?
Thank you in advance. -

alas it is :blownose:

Whenever I see such a case (lurker with yellow star) I try to fix the case immediately. But I don't have the time to watch all postings and/or all members for this glitch. So you did the right thin
kg with posting in this thread.Thank you.
Ouuups - sorry for that typo

-
Thank you, mgr!
:thx:
-
Sorry to bother you again, mgr, but something really weird is going on. The glitch/bug must be more elaborate and complex than you may think. After you fixed my user class to Newbie, I made two more posts and was demoted to Semi-Newbie!! ???
Well, you wanted more examples of other cases. I don't think I should mention any specific user names, it feels like ratting on a fellow user, but I assure you there are several users with lower or higher user class than they should have. There's even a case of someone who has a yellow star and only 3 posts, and has ascended to Newbie! :-
Back to me, I find my own very special case of automated descension really funny! :rotfl: Can you please fix it again, so that I'm a happy Newbie?
:lolp:
