As to my signature - you are right, that is a coding trick which shows the name of the name of the user which lokks at my postings - so don't feel intimidated or even scared. I hoped that giving the author of that sentence (from the novel 1984) would make the thing a bit more clear, but it seems to be an age thing that this novel is not known anymore:)

Well, they do in this case. It's possible that your calculations were off because I have traded in most of my seed bonus points. But I have been seeding way more than the amount of time you gave me credit for.

Since that count, you have been credited with about another 49 Seed Bonus Points, means 98 hours of seeding in 15 days makes about 7h30min per day of seeding.
Are you saying you seed significantly longer each day?
7 and a half hour per day is already a lot and that it isn't helping you enough is a demonstration that one must not count on Seed Bonus Points to gain share ratio. They should be understood a "bonus" or "extra" for trying and keeping torrents alive. Real upload is the only way to efficiently increase the share ratio.
Uploading an own new torrent of something missing here is the best way to generate upload.

SBP exchanged to traffic : 100together: ~ 140 SBP earned
to be exact: that one and only exchange of SBP happened on Sept. 9th 2010 at 07:34:56 (server time).
But the past is not really important, important is that you increased your seeding time significantly. Please read also Uwe's remark - he is completely correct, especially with his last sentence - for a reason in bold letters

I have some clips on my computer that I'd be happy to post if anyone could tell me how to make a torrent out of them. Please? I want to share and contribute, but I have not been able to seed very much the past week or so for personal reasons.

Have a look at our Quick Torrent Maker (a pictured guide is in this thread)! QTM will create a torrent file and upload your pictures/description automatically to our tracker. The only thing remaining for you: seed, seed, seed. When you are finished seeding: seed some more

Your upload looks ok at a first glance - only thing: you to start seeding it so it can be approved from our staff and afterwards seen by other members.
Without you seeding the torrent we can not approve it

I am seeding it but regardless it was not approved because apparently it has to be more than 50 mb. ::)

That minimum size of an upload is several times described in the Rules, FAQ, Upload Guide. I can only recommend to read a bit more abut the basic rules and tips for uploading. I guess the most helpful thing is for a new uploader to read is our upload guide!

i think the user is only suggesting this because hes uploaded less then 10% of what hes downloaded
I have been seeding all of my torrents all the time. It's not my fault no one's downloading them.
Even if you're not successfully uploading from files you're seeding, you obtain seed bonus points by having them seeded. If you click your seed bonus points in the top right corner of just about every window, you will be automatically directed to the area of the website where these points can be exchanged for a number of things. This includes upload, which will bring your upload up, without the need to donate to the website. Alternatively, you also have the option of uploading a torrent, which should help resolve the issue more quickly.
