I would really love some… my ratio is .009 and I am completely at a loss for how to recover it. I seeded my torrents all for over a month but no one was downloading them. I only like weird fetish stuff so it's hard to find popular ones that I care about seeing.

@ ja32 Currently there are 19 leechers for the downloads in your profile and yet you are not currently seeding any of these torrents. 0 torrents seeding.
If you and all others will just leave the torrents active and your computer on with your bit torrent client open , our system will connect you to as many as 15 torrents to seed at any time.
Seeding is a habit that must be gained to ever have a minimum ratio.
The Fetish torrents are quite popular here so if a torrent is not seeding just now a leecher can show up at any time.
Seed Bonus points can also help with ratio troubles. But again, you have to be at least trying to seed to gain them.
My upload rate is capped at 58KBS and I have excellent stats at 4 torrent sites. This only happens with leaving torrents available to seed so when a leecher shows up you connect with them

Well ja32 is member since about a month and got about 60 seed bonus points. That indicates that he was seeding on average 4 hours a day. That is a reasonable effort.
When I look to Leatherbears's comment, he lust have seed not all and the wrong choice of torrents or used a torrent client with no good settings (e.g. Vuze/Azureus with out of the box settings).
On the otherhand, we can't gift him Seed Bonus Points, because there is no own upload made.

Since you've downloaded it before you will be able to download the .torrent file from the site again, so do that, start it in your client and when asked where to save the file point it in the direction of the already downloaded video. The torrent will do a data check to 100% and start seeding.

I would suggest that you download 1 file at a time. this way you can clear each file quicker and begin seeding it earlier.
also try to start with the most recent torrents 1st. those have a tendency to collect leechers and get you on your way while you're downloading -

from what i can see hes downloaded almost 10GB and only uploaded 100MB pretty shocking tbh nowhere near the minimum ratio and its not as if hes a new starter

well and truly run the account into the ground
he must be stopping the torrent as soon as its finished downloading or something.
TO even try and get him to the minimum amount needs to seed what he has already downloaded even leaving it for an hour after he finished each would have him at his minimum ratio, alternativly could upload a NEW torrent (as in it doesnt exist on the track - search for it first!)
HINT: to see the stats for the user look for one of their posts in the forum and on the left hand side it will tell you how much they have upped/downed, at what speed and their ratio

it just seems like there are tons of seeders and not enough leechers... i left my client on for 3-4 hours last night and barely got any upload... now im just trolling the recently uploaded to maybe get some seeding in but it seems like once i get something downloaded there is a million seeders and no leechers... none of the older torrents im seeding have any leechers...
i learned to do torrents on demonoid and my ratio over there is like 1.5... it just seems like its impossible on this site to keep a decent ratio. i dont know what to do... i dont have any access to new content and i dont have any money to donate... please help! im using utorrent on mac os... no upload limits or anything... however my outgoing encryption is forced... is that messing with it?
i registered a while ago and downloaded some stuff but im kind of OCD about stuff like ratios so when i wasnt able to get it up i became discouraged and just quit... but now im back and determined to fix this. great site by the way!

The only thing that I could suggest to both of you (short of donating to the website) would be be to keep seeding torrents as often as possible, and see if you are able to perhaps find other content that is not on the website to upload. Although the website does not require payment of any kind, you obtain seed bonus points from seeding torrents, regardless of whether or not they're being downloaded. If you click on your seed bonus points in the top right corner, you will be brought to a screen where you can exchange said points for upload. Perhaps this may be a way of helping you in your goal to get enough of a share ratio to be able to download again, without having to donate.

Just a short remark: You get [desc=Seed Bonus point]SBP[/desc] for just seeding, not for a torrent. You do not get more SBP for seeding several torrents at once (like the often asked question: I seeded 20[0…] torrents at a time, why don't I get more SBP?). The SBP do only count for your seeding time, regardless of the # of torrents you seed!
