Living in a state of USA or in a country of EU?

The European Union isn’t a country. But you can jump between different countries in the EU without having to go through immigration, work between the countries in the EU without any sort of special visa, and use the same currency anywhere within the EU. The countries that make up the EU are like the states that make up the US. And yet, the European Union isn’t considered a country while the United States definitely is.
Having all that in mind, where would you like to be living?

I live in the US right now but would much rather live in Vancouver, Scotland, New Zealand, Ireland, or most any progressive place in Europe.

NO ! some countries are part of the European Union but arent in the Euro zone.

I'm content living in the US. Some states are better than others (living in the Deep South can really be a challenge for some gay people)
However, I probably wouldn't mind living in some Europepeon countries like Sweden, Finland, France and Ireland.

I won't go back to the US. It's toxic atm.
Europe, my favorite city is Paris but it's unrecognizable from when I first went way back in the 90's. I'd either live in Lisbon, Portugal or someplace in The Czech Republic (though because of some people I've met here, Poland has piqued my interest).

if you ask me half year before, i will choose europe, but right now i wanto live in China mainland. the world is changing rapidly.
