What is a power user?
-
Not sure how I get to that status?
-
It's part "time served" and part maintaining a decent ratio. I'm sure I've seen a more detailed description somewhere, but I can't find it now. It's automatic after you've been a member for six months and you need to have a ratio of greater than 1, I think.

@Kevin4fm thank you...I keep seeding always so hopefully soon!

@Kevin4fm i also couldn't find it in the official support pages but if i recall correctly you become a power user when you have uploaded at least 40GB in total AND have a ratio of at least 1.05
btw i don't remember if there's any benefit at all other than being able to use the RSS feed feature.

The official qualifications as I recall are:
- Member for at least 26 weeks
- Upload of at least 40 GB
- Ratio above 1.04

I just noticed the other part of your post now. There is at least one other distinct difference that power user status makes. Only power users are able to use invites to invite a friend.
