Partially downloaded help or hinders your ratio when seeding?

I know from from the post "WHY do torrents that I have downloaded STILL SAY LEECHING in my profile?" that torrents that get partially downloaded counts as leeching when they are seeding, but what do that do to the ratio?

@123dasilva Just like any other torrent, they improve the ratio, even if not fully downloaded, as any time you transfer part of the torrent to another user, you get the credit for the data transferred.

@123dasilva thank you as someone who has 100's of torrents seeding 24/7 I say thank you bc those "partially seeded" maybe just the pieces another person has been waiting for.

The only problem is that you're limited to 15 torrents being "leeched" at the same time, so I often have to decide which partially downloaded torrents to keep seeding.

@frostygrin actually the limit is 8, the tracker will say it's 15 but that's just really old message that nobody bothered to update.

It's definitely 15 for me - might depend on the ratio. It used to be 12 for me, as far as I recall, when my ratio was around 1.05.

@frostygrin i guess they changed it again recently, a mod had told me the max concurrent downloads was 8 for everyone even though the tracker reported a max of 15. I remember very well that I'd see that message in the tracker status and in the site it would show i was downloading 8 torrents... I added a bunch now just to test and it capped at 15 like you said.
