      Hello all
I have a paid account on a pictures site that is view only. There is no right click, the pictures are shown in a pop up window so apart from screen shot I can’t save them locally. Does anyone know of any easy to use software that can do it? I need to log in and click on a thumbnail to see the pictures so I’ve not found anything so far but as there are so many siterips around I’m sure it’s possible. Thanks.

@GalloB-0 If you can see the image, it means that it is stored/cached somewhere on your computer--it's just a matter of finding it. In the Firefox browser, you might try going to Tools => Page Info (or CTRL+I), then click the media tab, and see if there's something called an image...and then you could save that. It's hard to be more specific without knowing the name of the site and what sort of browser you're using...but give this a try.

@eobox91103 thanks - I am using chrome but I also tried Firefox. I can see the thumbnails on the page when I do as you say - but not the large image I’ve selected that pops up - that’s the one I can’t seem to locate. The pop up area doesn’t seem to show anywhere when the page is inspected.

@MrMazda I can screenshot but there are 500 pictures and then I’d need to crop each one. Just thought there would be an easier option.

Have you tried updating your browser ...
Try to [redownload your browser from the official site] then un-install and re-install [it is possible that your browser is corrupted or hijack,
do/run anti-spyware/malware scan] if there are no right-click option saving files ...
Please Note: Thumbnails/Files/images have the, always right click option/details/specifications,
if you hover your pointer in the middle of the area/files regardless of browsers ...

In addition you may need an extension:
search for [lightshot]/This is Free to use, however you need to save manually ...

                • Simple and convenient screenshot tool. Select an area, edit your screenshot and upload it to the server.
Lightshot is the fastest way to take a customizable screenshot. Simple interface, nothing useless and light weight.

@john32123666 thank you - it’s definitely not a browser issue as I’ve tried several - it’s a drm issue for sure. The pictures are not intended to be stored locally only for the period you subscribe. I’ll give what you say a try but I’m not sure it’s possible. I’ll just have to get busy with the screenshots.

@GalloB-0 Doing screenshots are an excessive waste of time. If you're using Firefox, there's any number of add-ons that can locate and download the photos. There are also some downloading programs like JDownloader, etc., which can take a link for a page and download everything on it.

Another very simple way, in Firefox, is to simply go to Tools>Page Info>Media, and there will be a list of all the images on the page, and you can grab them individually there by selecting the particular image(s) you want, and then clicking "Save As".

This should also work for any pop-up window you get, depending on the site.

                      @cinemacapman Tools>Page Info>Media is a great tip I wasn't aware of. Thanks.

There are many download "spiders" which will grab all the content off of a site - usually done for images.

Some are much easier to use than others, and some are much more effective than others.

It annoys me when I want to download images off of Instagram and they make it so difficlit!

Both on chrome and firefox, open the page where the images are located and press CTRL+SHIFT+I

Then, select the "Network" tab, tap the only the "images" or "media" filter depending on what you're looking for, then press F5 to refresh the page and load the resources into the developer tools panel.

Every image requested by the website will be displayed in a list and you can open them in new tabs/windows and save them.

Additionally you could use an extension to do the job automatically. You can find Image Downloader in the chrome web store and firefox add-ons. You could also use DownloadHelper but this one is a little more tricky to configure for images, but possible.
