There will be no 2nd series.

Several LGBT shows have been canceled over the last year by NetFlix. See the bottom of the article for some if you are interested.

@raphjd The list does seem a tad long, I'll grant you. I won't be mounting any protest though. Some shows just fail. Without seeing any viewing figures it's not unreasonable to think that they perhaps didn't get the audience numbers to justify continuing some of them. I haven't even watched their QAF, despite loving the original.

@frostycab From my experience, the shows that get cancelled are some of their best content. Their lesser content that they keep is exactly that.... Lesser quality and value. It makes no sense to me why they keep doing this to their users.

Also, with their latest stunt in North America at least with the Netflix can only be used in one household BS, it's a wonder how they haven't had to start jacking their prices again because they're losing subscribers up, down, and sideways because they keep getting greedy and only cancelling the good stuff.

Oh, don't take me wrong, because I agree with you. All I'm saying is that their interest is in overall viewing figures rather than what I personally might enjoy. If Show A gets 10 times the audience that Show B gets then B is the one that gets axed, regardless of whether or not it's regarded as a "better" show.

I think this discussion illustrates why "specialist" TV and streaming channels have come about. People can now sub to services that cater to their own tastes rather than hope for a gem to appear in the "we do everything" channels that are trying to balance a varied schedule/library against overall demand.
