I have a straight friend I'm crushing on too. He's insanely good looking and his charm is off the charts. He knows I'm gay and I mean, he allows very minimal flirting. But it hurts a bit.

By crush, I usually pick guys that "check all the boxes" for looks, personality and brains, but I'm unlikely to meet/date in real life.
I crush at a distance, lol.
Mostly, my crushes are public figures, media friendly, can be gay, straight or "?". While I lust after some porn stars, they are not crushes in my book.

The last guy I had a REAL crush on was a gay man in the same choir I sing in. I don't recall ever having a crush on someone who was unambiguously straight.
My fangirl crushes are also at guys who are at least ambiguous. One of my latest was for a dancer in the Балет Игоря Моисеева. I went through all the recent videos on Youtube looking for the snippets where he performed.

He could never have sex with someone he was friends with.. only strangers. To this day, he is single, and seems content to just play with himself and play video games too. -

I like bears so for the majority of time it's really hard to tell if the guy is gay or not D:. I had crushes on straight guys before, specially while I was in the closet, it was tough :/. But thankfully technology is a thing and hook up apps exist, they made my life so much easier, hehehe.
