Problems/Issues with the new redirects.

From the .rent site, clicking on "Forums" takes you to the forums on .ru and asks for a new login.
Also from the .rent site; when receiving a reseed request for a torrent. Clicking on the link to the torrent, takes you to a 404 error page.
Not sure if y'all already knew about these issues or not.

The tracker, the website, and the forum are actually separate services - probably on separate servers (tho I admittedly have no real evidence to that effect). As advertised elsewhere, the website and the tracker have been moved from the .ru domain to the .rent domain, but the forum has not yet been re-configured.
As for the re-seed links, that should likely be reported to the help desk. https://www.gaytor.rent/helpdesk.php

I believe the site owner @Joker knows about this unless it's a new thing.
There is/was an issue with the forums on .rent, so he turned off url until he can fix it.
As I said, I'm not sure if this is what you guys are talking about.

I would have sent a ticket to the help desk, except there was no link here on the forums at .ru anymore. So I created a post here instead of going to the Torrents page to try and find the Support link.
I did wait after seeing the "News" post on March 8th saying the new site was ready and everything was going to be forwarded to .rent, but these issues remained.
I do understand that the Forums and Torrents are probably at the very least a sub-site of each other. I'm certain that's most likely where the problems are being incurred.
Anyway, now we all know you guys know about these issues. Thanks again.

I just created a helpdesk ticket regarding the redirect link leading to a 404 error page.
Just posting here so that others might avoid a duplicative request.

I sign in on gaytor. rent and if I click on the banner link for forum I need to sign in again.

You can login to both URL below w/o having no issues as long as you BOOK MARK both
and save your login and password ...
hence new url gaytor.rent direct you to homepage and will revert to gaytor.rent and forum [w/o 404 error]

@john32123666 I see where you're going, but I think it may be necessary for me, at minimum, to delete my gaytorrent .ru home page bookmark, and then possibly, all the gaytorrent .ru boards and threads I've bookmarked -- quite a few!
Otherwise, my browser seems to gravitate toward these longest-lived bookmarks from the old site. Well, I'll start cleaning up my marks and see where it leads. Thanks for getting me focused on a solution.

most of the related link remains @ gaytor.rent except forum ...
However when you go @ https://community.gaytor.rent/ [forum]
that is the time you are redirected, and all your links will switch back to https://www.gaytor.rent/ [origin]
so you don't have to delete [bookmark] instead you can change gaytor.rent to gaytor.rent URL ...
or sign in to origin >>> https://www.gaytor.rent/ this has no issue @ all ...
404 error only occurs when you are not sign in from both links [ https://www.gaytor.rent/ | https://www.gaytor.rent/ ] ...

@john32123666 Thank you, John, that pretty much sums up my experience. Happily I'm not getting 404 errors -- just signing in twice, which is fine for now.

A quick update on a work-around. It seems if you log into .ru first, then read the Forums and after that click the link to the Torrents (which takes you to .rent), you don't have to log in twice. It also appears to be a temporary fix for the 404 errors when getting reseed requests.

Whoops, I thought clicking on the Torrents link took you to .rent, but it doesn't, yet. I guess that's why everything was working. Because I was doing everything on .ru. My mistake.

and save your login and password details ...
[However, You will do all the time once you cleared your browser [history/cache] ...
