Google's Head of Diversity - Oh My!!!

Ah, once again our resident fake conservative is against a liberal getting his own ideology used against himself.
It's not 1 mistake, but several, according to screen grabs of his blog.
As I said, in liberal clown world, he has black privilege to be anti-Semitic as he wants to be and not be canceled, but white privilege would have gotten him fired within seconds of the discovery of the blog.
So... Mr. "Dems are in favor of Cancel Culture" - wants to "cancel" this guy...
Like I said earlier:
- Punish, yes
- Cancel (fire), no
Your straw-man objection to his being black notwithstanding, Google did the right thing by quickly demoting him and re-assigning him.
-
If he was white, it would have taken 2 seconds for him to have been canceled. Only an idiot or liar would claim otherwise.
It's how your media outlets either keep claiming "white supremacy" or totally ignore black on asian and black on jew violence.
It's like who black lives matter, except when blacks murder blacks. David Dorn's life didn't matter because he was murdered by black looters/rioters.
BTW, he went from head of diversity, to head of STEM. Yeah, that sounds like a demotion.

I'm neither an idiot or a liar - not everyone in this world (White, Black, or anything else) overreacts to every fart...
And I think you got that wrong - I don't think he's "head" of STEM.
If you are indeed right, I would agree that more should be done... but I stand by my mantra...
- Punish, yes
- Cancel, no
-
More than 1 article said he was moved to Head of STEM.
As a liberal, of course, you don't want a liberal canceled. Liberals are total hypocrites on the matter.

As a compassionate, flawed human being, I don't want liberals, conservatives, (not even Trump!), women, men, whites, blacks, latins, asians, ...
anyone!
canceled because of a mistake.
You can't seem to get this very simple formula through your head:
- Punished: yes
- Canceled: no
case in point:
- Matt Gaetz - if proven to be into ephebophilia, and paying for young girls (let's assume, for now, that all were over 18)... should lose his committee assignments (for this term) and be censured by the house... and if he's re-elected, he gets to keep his seniority AND get is committee assignments back in the next term... he should not be expelled from the house (canceled) without a "trial".
- Mario Cuomo - if proven that he sexually harassed these women - WHILE Governor - should be impeached. (Reminder: that's like saying he should be charged, not necessarily convicted - ala Trump's impeachments). If convicted, he should be removed from office ad charged criminally. If not, he stays Governor and the criminal and civil trials will have to commence after his term ends. (Same as happened with Trump).
In both cases (a liberal and a conservative) - face trial (even if a political trial, like an impeachment) and the punishment handed down by that trial... not be forced to resign (canceled) without evidence from all sides and/or a trial.
-
AH, so you don't believe in equality.
Your fellow liberals support cancel culture, but you (all you liberals) are against calls for liberals to get a dose of their own medicine.
A guy that raised over $4mil because of a viral video has destroyed you liberals had to go hunting for something to ruin him. You dug up a post he made when he was 14, that's more than a decade old.
Yeah, let's protect a black guy who has a history of making racist and anti-semtic posts on his blog.

Anyone got a straw man? I need a straw man!
-
I haven't seen you raging about any conservative being canceled.
I do see you calling for a black guy who made racist and anti-semitic posts to be protected.

Protected? no, punished!
Have I mistakenly assumed you can read English?

You keep telling yourself that.
I believe in equality, you believe in special rights for liberal hypocrites.

Thanks again for telling me about my beliefs - I believe you don't have an actual argument to make, so you choose instead to attack me (mainly by calling me names)...
So you know, I do NOT believe in "EQUAL" rights - because that (at least at this time in our cultural history) is am impossible goal: the wealthy have extra rights (and the wealthier the more the "extras")...
But this isn't about rights, it's about PUNISHMENT.
And I don't believe in (nay, I OBJECT TO) cancel culture, plus I DO believe in redemption. I also believe in equitable (not equal!) justice... so punish, not cancel.
I would end by calling you a hypocrite.. but I don't want to stoop to your level (and I want to spare you the Google search)
-
Please remind me of when you objected publically to cancel culture other than when I point out that a liberal who advocates for conservatives to be canceled gets away with not being canceled when they get caught.
Are you saying you are innocent of name-calling? I hope not.

No, indeed - I strongly implied that you were borderline illiterate - sorry if you missed it.
I have objected to cancel culture many times - but perhaps the first time you've heard it from me was in response to your stated desire to cancel this guy.
I believe that, if you look back several months, you went on a rant against cancel culture in general (because Trumpites - I think it was Mike Lindell) were in it's crosshairs... and I posted that it was a rare-instance of us agreeing on something!
Funny how you support "canceling" some, but not others... that's hypocritical
-
Sure, you have objected to cancel culture. I agree that you have.
The difference is that you remain silent when Repubs are canceled, but defend liberal supporters of cancel culture when they are caught in their own shit and conservatives call for them to get a dose of their own medicine.
Normally, I am against cancel culture, but when an advocate of it gets caught, like the guy in this thread, he deserves to get a dose of his own medicine. A simple concept that is obviously too difficult for fake conservatives to understand.

@bi4smooth You don't believe in equal rights?... Well I don't go off what I believe. I try to focus on what I know.

I also don't believe in fairies, leprechauns, or sasquach.
But on a more serious note, you're misinterpreting things (as you have so often - for your own agenda)... "Equal Rights" is a laudable, if impossible goal. As I clearly explained when I first wrote it.
More equitable rights is achievable, equal rights is not.
I'll repeat it again, as you appear incapable of understanding:
Progress, not perfection.
-
@bi4smooth Oh, "Progress." Using democrat party terms and claiming to be Republican. Judge Joe Brown, a conservative black tv judge, said, "We're working on it." That describes it perfectly. There's no need to over-exaggerate. You're stating that equal rights is impossible to achieve. It's not. You're basically stating that civilization is impossible.

ROFL - your grasp of the English Language is wholly underwhelming...
Progress (in this case) is not even related to "Progressive" - the phrase is used to to acknowledge that perfection is not possible, but coming closer to the goal - in a repetitive, iterative process allows you to make inroads towards improvements - even if perfection is not possible.
There is absolutely no way that "Equal Rights" can possibly be achieved from each person's perspective. For every 1000 people, there are at least 1001 different ideas as to what "Equal Rights" would mean.
Civilization is not impossible... but a perfect civilization is...
I am sorry you have such a hard time with English. Perhaps if you'd paid better attention in school, or read material more challenging than the 5th-Grade readers... alas, that ship has passed...
-
@bi4smooth Oh, please. Like I never read a dictionary before. You want to play a little word game. You're talking to the master. Progress (in this case) IS related to Progressive. In fact those two words are very very similar. Gaslighting or ignorance. Take your pick.
