Please help, I'm also having this problem. I'm trying to download 1 torrent. I don't have any other torrents downloading or uploading and I keep getting the same message Bad Ratio: Ratio 10.508 To Many Torrents. Your total number of torrents is 15…..etc etc. But I only have only selected 1 torrent total so I can't be at my limit of 15. I really need help with this. Thank you!!!!

I have the same problem. I have emptied my torrent client, the site on the top left corner displays 0 seeding and 0 leeching, but when i try to download something i got the error "Bad Ratio: Ratio:3.499 (To many Torrents.. Your current limit is 15 at the same time.)
Could anyone help me?

having the same issue as described here. i think its something todo with changing isp my new internet has considerably higher bandwidth and torrents are able to complete much faster. iv tried restricting the maximum number of active downloads to 5, despite my ratio limit being 15 having very little luck. have tried checking the leaching torrents section that only shows 2 which is what im downloading right now but if i try to add a 3rd it comes up bad ratio any help would awesome thanks.

Any multi-file torrents will show as leeching and occupy a download slot unless you are seeding all of the files. My guess is you have 13 torrents that are not complete. Try pausing some of them and see if that fixes it. If not, use the Helpdesk feature in the drop-down menu under Support at the top right of the page to contact a moderator.

i almost always download files completely too lazy most of the time sit there selecting individual files. iv had a look and the only torrents that are not complete are either listed in quew or are stopped. i was fine until last week when i got my new internet installed as iv gone full fiber. so i suspected i might have to alter the settings of my torrent client as such iv held off while i try to figure out what i might need to change. update as of now tho iv turned off my socks 5 proxy and restarted my client, then waited 20 mins everything seems to be running fine now, but will keep an eye on things and see if it starts again. i may have to look at running through a full vpn rather than just a proxy not ideal as that costs more but we'll see. thanks for your help anyways

Well, unless there is some setting in your torrent software that limits the number of downloads, since you are able to download two torrents, it seems to me that the problem with downloading three torrents would not be on your end but on the GT.RU end as it has the ability to limit the number downloads. If you read above, the mods have had to reset some account settings for people for whatever reason, so contact a mod.

My ratio is 1.095 but I get the same massage, I am sure (double checked, no torrents I partially downloaded) I have less then 15 leaching torrents, but I get the same error massageBUT
For a faster connection, I am trying to leach and upload with my computer connected to both my home Wi-Fi and my iPhone with a cable (can very well afford it with my data plan) but when I am connected with both 2 connections, I start getting this massage, even tho I have less then 15 leaching torrents
is it possible its a problem being connected with 2 IP addresses at the same time to the torrents?

In your case, I think the problem may be related to a system glitch. I have done a reset on your account, which should fix this problem.

I seem to have a similar issue, where packs I only partially downloaded are listed as leeching. I understand my ratio is dropping (0.838 right now), but either way it's claiming I've downloaded >8 files in the last 24 hours, which is not accurate at all. Every file listed under my leeching files was completed weeks if not months ago.
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help remediate the problem!
