Get tested again, use a different type of test besides the ELSA blood test.  There are saliva tests and you can go to a doctor, have them take your blood and test it that way.  I hope you do not have HIV.

Uno de gato is the herb called cat's claw.  I have never consumed it but my friends from Mexico sometimes drink it when they are sick.

Since you are from Brasil you probably know about erva mate which is very good for your body as it has lots of vitamins and minerals but talk to a doctor before you take any herbs or supplements for your liver.

Sure, I won't consume anything without a second oppinion and I just did the (expensive) PCR test that comes this week.
I never cheered so much for a liver lazyness…
        thanx

If they want to be sure of what they're working with, then aside from the ELSA, they'll also want to run what is known as a "Western Blot"… There are two different kinds of tests for the Western Blot... One tests for HIV type 1 (most common within North America), and the other is for HIV type 2 (most common within Africa).

As for living with HIV, I've been dealing with it now since 2009 and I can honestly say that once you get the right medications, there's really nothing to it. As for side effects to the liver, kidneys, etc, I am pleased to say that most of the newer medications have minimal to no impact on these organs. 🙂

In terms of living with HIV, this is nothing new to me... So if you need someone to talk to about it or to give you pointers on how to deal with it, don't be a stranger... I'm more than happy to provide whatever assistance that I can. I will tell you this though... No matter how educated you are on the subject, there is NOTHING that can prepare you for when the positive test result comes back (assuming that it does come back positive). I know this from first hand experience. What concerns me though is the "pimples" that you speak of, as this is not usually something associated with HIV. Generally, symptoms of HIV are very much like the symptoms of the flu. This would lead me to believe that there is something else going on in your body, which may not even he HIV related at all. Also, the other thing to take a look at as a "tell-a-tale" sign is to run a CD4/CD8 test. This will measure your absolute CD4 & CD8 levels, saturation, ratio, etc. If these numbers are low (below 700, but even worse below 200), then you may have reason for concern. Most often, newly infected people will have a rather low CD4 count, due to the way that HIV attacks the immune system.

As for proper confirmation, I would strongly recommend the Western Blot, as this will tell you quite quickly what is what, and if it is HIV, will tell you whether you're dealing with Type 1 or Type 2. They both work very much the same way, although there are a few minor differences between them.

I truly hope you do not have it - but realize it isn't a "death-sentence". I've been HIV+ since 2006 - and undetectable with no viral-load and no trace of the virus in my system. I have an immensely high CD4 count, and my husband I have been with for 8 years is HIV-. Even IF your next test is positive, you can be healthier living as HIV+ than you ever did when you were negative.

I can confirm this… Overall now, I'm healthier and able to withstand a lot more now than I was before I was diagnosed. 🙂

It's called Uno de Gato. It's powder and it sucks to drink it. You mix one teaspoon of it with some water or juice. I at first feel worse, but that takes just a bit of time and then you feel loads better. If maybe you have bacteria inside of you, that is the best thing. I once had some flesh eating bacteria that almost took my leg and from time to time I get sick with it again. Now I take that powder. Last time I think I had 39C temperature and was shaking. I drunk it and wass almost at 100% in 6 hours. A friend of mine had problems with his gums and he took that and was also better fast. I wouldn't say it if I wouldn't belive in it so much. I don't know what can it do to hiv, but if it's not hiv, take it. If you have fever it's probably from bacteria. If you have any more questions, PM me

If you don't mind me asking how do you believe you were infected if you used condoms?

Or did you ever bareback/have unprotected anal sex as a bottom/pasivo? Or give oral sex to him when you had cuts in your mouth?

I hope you can get on medications, and good luck with everything.

As I said at the first post, I did not have had unprotected sex: here's my outflow and warn.
That's the question that makes my family and I crazy (not a problem you asking). First of all, his viral rates must be very high, but I'd say it was his fluids (pre-semen) doing oral, but I wouldnt swallow if I felt something "different".
And there was nothing wrong with the condom and the lubrification was always ok.

For me the ethical issue also bothers me: why someone (he's 46yo) after having a risk behavior don't stop doing sex until another test, shitting other people lives?! For me that's a kind of a selfish monster…

No need - with what you are going through, your feelings are valid.
