2.3 TB. I sort it by Studio and some by special actors I really adore. I have a "favourite" folder for pieces that make me always cum.

I separate general porn from the ones featuring my favorite models; they have their own specific folders which I name after them ;D

I just dump it on an external drive. When I rewatch some of the movies I realize that I've "outgrown" them so I delete them and that's how I manage my disk space.  😉

I have a NAS drive which serves as a back-up for my general files and to store porn. Anything unwatched is on my laptop and is either deleted or transferred to the NAS depending on whether it makes muster.

I store professional porn by Studio and amateur porn by one of the following categories - vanilla, inter-racial, BDSM, throatfucking, femdom.

I'm about to add 500GB space - but I'm afraid that will be full in no time due to reshuffling, getting better versions (quality), and getting DVD's as to convert (rip them myself) that way I get best quality (h264!!!) and van share pristine crystal clear videos.

I wonder what happened to that guy who was having a crowd funding for his new HDD.. hmm

Porn movies are tricky to manage compared to just pics. Is it a full movie? Or something else. There's a lot of the latter that I like also. This makes it very hard to go by title, although now that I think about, separating full movies out and organizing them by title sounds possibly useful. Still, what's left-over (and there's a lot) is hard to deal with. By category? That can be iffy. And then there's the trick of trying to find them again. Which is why I use Calc (LibreOffice's version of Excel) to organize certain parts of my pic collection. It's the poor and/or lazy/stupids persons way to do a data base. I'm a librarian at heart so these things irk me. If I was good at it, I'd figure it out. As it is, I muddle along with figuring out where to put vids, but I'm really good with organizing my pics  😄

I use Plex for non-porn but I find it tough to organize porn since there is so much random stuff.

I separate my videos by studio. I create a folder for each studio that I have scenes and I created a special icon for each folder.

My movie folder is like this:

Within each folder, I name the videos with "Scene Name - Actors", like this:

If I want to see a scene with a particular actor, just search for his name in the folder search field and all the videos of that actor appeared in the list.

My method of organization is simple, to make it easy to find what I want to watch.

This is only a small part of the "Men" folder, there are many more videos in this folder and many others in the other studio folders.

60% of the content of this folder is in my torrent: https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=25d0517fcc52e1215528bdbaa613d0f59e6d053cedbbbacb

Good god… I just checked the size of my collection... 9.6TB I wasn't aware it had gotten that big. I organize by studio, 252 studios currently, but I sometimes sub-divide. For example NextDoorBuddies/NextDoorRAW/etc instead of just 1 NextDoorStudios. But it's a little random cause I don't do that for men.com, I just have 1 folder instead of Straight 2 Gay, GOM, etc. I'm not sure how well plex would handle the double nesting as it took me a while to get it to work as well as it does with my collection. My biggest issue is sorting, I currently have 1.7TB of that number above in a "temp" directory which has been downloaded but not renamed and sorted into the correct studio folder yet. I've got a handful of scripts I've written to assist in the renaming and massaging the filenames into the format I like. Normally: Scene Name - Actor 1 & Actor 2 [Subsite] (STUDIOCODE-SCENENUMBER) so for example:

                            seancody.com/Aaron (SC-1830).mp4
                            randyblue.com/Ace & Nick (RB-2223).mp4
men.com/100 Dollar Bet - Jimmy Johnson & Riley Banks [Str8 to Gay] (MEN-789).mp4
