Lars and the Real Girl (2007)…4th time watching it--at least!
"Official" trailer - https://www.youtube.com/embed/XNcs9DrKYRU?rel=0&wmode=transparent&border=0&autoplay=1&iv_load_policy=3
Maybe not a typical Ryan Gosling movie, but still near the top of the list of my favorites of his!
After seeing it so many times, I still enjoy it–laughing...and still a little weepy at points. (This weepy thing's got to be some kind of male menopause deal…it seems to come on much too easily.)
Anyway, I give it a 7.5/10 :clap2:
I actually liked it so much again, that I decided to spend the points to share it if you're interested…
Enjoy!
I "cheated" a little bit in that at the time of this post (before this edit) I was only halfway through the movie; but now having finished it–I still love it…the only difference--I don't remember bawling through it as much as I did this time…definitely has to be some hormonal thing…yup must be the start of _man_opause or something.

Teenage Kicks 2016 6.5/10
This is the full length version of the short film Drowning 2009. About a teenage boy whose world is turn upside down at the sudden death of his older brother. Then, there is his bestfriend and his girlfriend.
Nicely acted movie, Miles Szanto reprises his role as Mik (7 years difference and still, Miles can passed as teenager), and shows his dick. The rest of the cast were new (e.g the role of his bestfriend, Dan played in the short by Xavier Samuel is now portrayed by Daniel Webber)

Dr. Strange. I loved it!

I was invited to a private screening last week for the movie Lion. It was amazing knowing after watching the film that it is a true story. One of the best films I have seen in quite some time. 9/10. I filled up again just watching the trailer.

Rogue One 5 out of 10.

Watched the trailer and seems like a very heart warming story

Arrival - 9/10
Amazing movie! -
Rogue One: 8.5/10
This is the best Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back. Perhaps it hits a bit too close to home in the way it captures how a true rebellion would feel and act when fighting a superior force like the Empire. It has light moments but at its heart it is about the ugliness of war packaged in cool sci-fi trappings.
The actors did an excellent job- and the droid for this movie K-2SO puts BB-8 to shame. Watch it on the big screen, you won't regret it! -
Arrival- 9/10

Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman were on the latest Graham Norton Show BBC1 talking about the movie Lion

"Inferno"… totally overrated!
I rate it 6.5/10, it's definitely well made but they played way too safe, it gets boring easily.:true: _As I have read the book, I am disappointed with the way Ron Howard's interpret the ending.
-
In the book, Sienna did NOT die but was one of those trying to stop the "virus" from spreading and was later on hired by WHO in exchange for her amnesty
-
The "virus" in the book is not deadly but will cause 1/3 of the population to became sterile to stabilize the population growth
-
This is the only Robert Langdon character starrer wherein the dead villain succeeded coz Robert Langdon's group is a day or 2 late in stopping the virus (book) In the movie the virus (which will supposed to kill people) was contained.
-
The dead villain is not a villain at all but somewhat an unconventional genius who planned a solution for over population problem_
6/10

That would be Anthropoid and I rate it 7/10 ( I 'm along imdb rate for once ) which is a very high rate for me ( I rate most movies around 2 -4 at best).

That's about the assassination of the butcher of Praha during WW2.

Rogue One, and it is awesome!
-
_A black comedy set during the aftermath of the Cronulla riots, it is the story of two carloads of hotheads from both sides of the fight (1 group of White Australian and the other group, of Muslim origin living in Australia) destined to collide
There is a gay scenario here but this film is not gay themed
6/10_

Pompoko (Studio Ghibli) 8/10
-
Sixteen candles (1984), 4/10

Carry On Up the Jungle. 6/10. Campy fun.
