Can you tell me which client you are using to download and upload your torrents? ie; uTorrent, Vuze, BitTorrent?  If they are seeding even a little then they are seeding.

Are they new or old torrents?

Do you see how many leechers versus seeders there was on the ones you are seeding? Some have many seeders and little or zero leechers, which would be one reason for no upload.

Torrents only seed if someone is currently downloading the file. If you're looking to increase your ratio a good bet is to stick to high traffic downloads like the ones on the FreeLeech list.

If you are using Utorrent you also may need to run the "Setup Guide" you'll find it under the options tab. Just run a quick test so the program knows how fast it can upload torrents. I had to do this myself when I got a new internet provider suddenly my upload speed went from 50kbps to 25.2mbps.

@Shirobara: I took a look at your provider's site and options that they have to choose from. Getting a faster upload speed will depend mostly on whether you're with regular DSL, VDSL (fiber), or Cable internet with your provider. Also, the other thing that I suspect based on the stats that you have on your profile and the information I see from your provider, your issue may also be caused in part by traffic shaping, which almost all ISP's within Canada are famous for. They'll deny it left, right, and center, but at the end of the day, they still do it. If this is the case, I would recommend the use of a VPN to get around this issue.

**Go to hxxp://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2403388,00.asp (put "tt: in place of the "xx" in the beginning of the address.)

These are some of the best VPN Services according to PC magazine.  I myself use 'Private Internet Access' it is very easy to use and set up.

VPN means Virtual Private Network, a secure tunnel between two devices. Protect and free yourself online with just 1 click. Express VPN creates a secure tunnel between your computer and every website or application online allowing you to anonymously appear to be anywhere you choose.**

I would be inclined to signing up with PureVPN. That's who I'm with, and I've never had any complaints.

@sintor: I see two problems with your configuration… Problem #1 is that you randomize the port on each uTorrent start up. This is problematic because you need to have the port in TCP and UDP open between your router and your computer. I would strongly suggest picking a port and sticking to it, then making sure that said port in both TCP and UDP is properly forwarded to your computer. This should go a long way.
