It should be easy. It certainly is in uTorrent.

Click on 'File/Create New Torrent" and the box below will appear

Navigate to your chosen file with the 'add file' or add directory' buttons.

Copy the name of the tracker - http://tracker.gaytor.rent:2710/announce

Choose Create and save… and it should create a torrent file in the same folder as your chosen file.

        🙂

Using QTM is very easy. Browse to your file, upload photos, fill in name and description and pick a category. The program does all the rest including making the GTRU page.

Also, don't forget that when creating a .torrent file for the manual upload process, you need to remove the torrent from uTorrent, then download the .torrent file from the site to use to actually seed the torrent. This is the most common mistake that people make when uploading a torrent manually.

Just a couple of small points:

I have seen more posts about problems with QTM than about uploading manually (and I've tried and failed with earlier versions of QTM).

I don't understand the comment about removing the created torrent from uTorrent. It isn't there. There will be a torrent in the chosen file's folder unless you save it elsewhere. But this is not a worry, uTorrent ignores torrent files when checking. The only place where the created torrent is used is in the upload process to this site.

I agree that the most common mishap for first time uploaders is not downloading their own uploaded torrent and using that to open it on their machine.

But once you have done your first manual upload, the rest are so simple, with no extra software needed.

              🙂

PS I do wonder sometimes if people realise that uTorrent creates yet another torrent file, usually in a folder C:\Users_'myfolder'_\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent as soon as you open a downloaded torrent file - check it to see how many old torrents might be hiding there - I have about 100 despite clearing it regularly 😉
