Picking popular torrents

I'm trying to get my ratio up, so I want to choose a couple of files that will best do that quickly.
Any advise on how to pick one that's most likely to be popular on the site… at the moment I've chosen a few, which after downloading have only seemed to make my ratio worse.

Well, it is hard to predict which videos are going to be most popular. But I think it's better to get recent videos, because they have more chance to become popular. And recent videos almost always someone is getting it.
Also I really recommend getting freeleech torrents, you won't spent your download limit and there are more people downloading them normally, so you will probably get to upload some.

I second what bear said. Freeleech is a good way of getting a ratio 'cushion'. And if you can get in at the beginning they usually become very popular after they become freeleech

The other thing to look at is the top torrents list on the front page of GT.ru… Those are the most popular torrents, which means they are potentially great for the ratio if seeded enough, especially if they're FL
