Be gay is not a choice it is on DNA, end of chat!True that. But you can ofcourse chose to belong in a culture. But then you are just pretending. Although that does not need to be right or wrong, it's just you wanting to try a lifestyle. But in the end instinctually you are not gay.

I think we choose to act on our attractions I also believe I could be content in a platonic marriage with a woman but I'm glad of the times that I do not have to be. In short I don't think we choose to feel attractions to our own gender but I do believe that we choose to act on that attraction. I do not however think its genetic or at least it can't entirely be genetic (see twins one gay one not).

They still haven't proved that being gay is in our DNA… But I, too, don't believe it's a choice.
A lot of animal species have "gay sex" but most animals can't reason therefor they can't choose to be be gay or "have gay sex" it's just the way it is.There are lots of theories about why/how do you become gay? Unfortunately, no one can answer simply this question. There are almost as many theories as there are gays/bi/lesbians...
