@Joker just want to chime in to say thank you for all of your work updating this site. I am amazed at all of the changes you pulled off at once. I love how flexible and customizable the UI is. And the security updates are very welcome. I was super excited to see that tags are being added. I know over the long term tags are going to make everything here much more findable, especially for niche content, than categories ever were. Question: How does one add tags to torrents that don't have any yet? Or how do you add a new tag to a torrent that doesn't have that tag yet. And some food for thought that I'd like to offer along with my appreciation: the new emoji reactions to comments are cute, but I wish they were more clearly meaningful, like a thumbs up, a heart, a drooling emoji would be; I'm sure the new ones were picked for good reasons, but I can't see myself using them as I don't know what they're supposed to convey. Cheers on all the hard work, super grateful for your efforts!

Thanks! That was helpful I found all .torrent files inside AppData in the Windows.old folder, seemingly created while refreshing my PC. I do wish that in the future there is an option to filter downloaded or partially downloaded torrents since it is already able to distinguish these torrents from fully snatched ones.

@raldude There's a few things that can be at play here First, are you using a VPN to connect to the site? If so, changing server locations may help. Second, there's how many pages you're trying to open at a time. I do not know what the actual number is or the rate at which they need to be loaded to trigger the anti-bot system, but it's possible you're loading too many pages (like details pages) within a short order of time. If this is the case, opening fewer pages, waiting a moment before opening a few more may help you to get around this. If you're still having issues, it may be worth sending a ticket to the helpdesk so that we can escalate it to our sysop for a more concrete answer (and possibly even solution) to the issue.

This one is on us, not on Prowlarr. If the view mode saved on your account differs from the one Prowlarr asks for, our search page answers with a redirect to your saved view instead of the page it requested. Prowlarr treats an unexpected redirect on an indexer request as a failure, which is where "Unable to connect to indexer. Redirected to ..." comes from. That is also why it works for some of you and not for others: it depends entirely on which view you have saved. Until we straighten that out on the server side, @ianfontinell's tip is exactly right. Set your view mode to Legacy on the site, then the two agree, no redirect happens, and the indexer works. Thanks for the detailed error messages in this thread, they are what made it findable.

@ColinTNM All thanks to @Joker, who seems to get twice as much done, in half the time, as normal people. I wonder if whatever he's on is available over the counter?

We already have a similar rule in place. Any content that is or claims to be (insert semi-banned porn type) We used this specific language because some porn studios did "fantasy" or spoof stuff. We ban snuff films, but allow Best Death videos because BD was clearly fake. The guys were smiling and trying to keep from laughing in the videos. While it pretended to be a snuff video, it clearly wasn't, and they never claimed it was real.

@frostycab If you do want them to open in a new tab, there are two ways that you can do this. If your computer has a mouse (not a touchpad), you can click the link with the scroll wheel instead of the regular mouse button. This will open the link in a new tab, though at any other time, it enables a scroll feature. The other way is that you can hold the CTRL key on your keboard, then click the link while holding the CTRL key down. This too will open the link in a new tab. As a side note, if you want to open the link in a new tab, rather than a new window, you can hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard, then click the link while holding down the SHIFT key. This will override any link setting and force a new window, rather than just a new tab.

@mithos you'd need a userscript in order to remove the description tooltip, so the best thing you can do is to use stylus to move the .dc-tooltip element a bit so it won't be obstructed anymore. stylus is available for most browsers, including firefox on android, you only have to add a new style for the gaytor.rent url and add the following rule: .dc-tooltip{margin:20px!important} or if you want to skip stylus altogether you can ask @joker to enable the dev panel for you, so you can inject custom css rules directly into your account and they will carry over to any device/browser.

@MaleMan said: So sorry for bumping this, but the site seemingly has introduced another setting that seems to break the current settings and resorts to always sorting by relevance regardless of settings : [image: 1783779627896-b1e0f69b-1888-41cd-9e7e-404013713b76-image.jpeg] The default was Smart (Relevance when searching, Newest otherwise). I've changed mine to Newest first, but search does not keep this setting. Going to homepage and doing a search : [image: 1783780300175-e275d2dd-4d43-4bea-98be-fcfd749ec243-image-resized.jpeg] still results in results being sorted by relevance, and this despite changing the sort order of the results to Newest first and having activated the "Don't auto-switch to Relevance when I search". [image: 1783779751845-ecafa707-d9b8-44b8-b51d-ba48996a4776-image-resized.jpeg] It's very frustrating. Why does this site keep wanting to sort by relevance? Can the owners correct this? That is a known bug, ever since the search bar was introduced in the home page, it always resorts to relevance sort regardless of your preferences. But in the proper search page your settings should work as expected.

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the mixed signal it gave. The email notifications now use the same anonymised name as the on-site inbox, so a name that is kept anonymous on the site is no longer shown in the off-site mail. The mismatch is fixed. Appreciate the sharp eye.

@Hampie Yep I reckon it must be, and I'm 1951..but will say I do like the look, but the feel of the site well I'm finding it confusing and hard to use, but I will figure it out...eventually. Now that we are or appear to be down to just the two most popular gay torrent sites...LOL

@MrMazda I've only recently added port forwarding via a new VPN service. I know it's correct not just because I've double-checked the settings, but also since setting it up I'm now seeding several torrents that I couldn't before, where I'm the only seeder (or in a couple of cases one of two) and someone has been sat unable to leech for ages, but they've now started working. It could, of course, be that the causes for @willow1 and myself are different, and I really do struggle to understand how it can be down to site changes here, but they're most definitely interesting coincidences.

@frostycab Actually, one thing I've just realised: On the old site, formatting didn't carry through to the often shortened description within multiple torrent lists - e.g. search - and only became apparent once you went into the full description. From your screenshot, that appears to have changed. I don't see that view anymore as I've gone from absolutely hating the grid layout when I first saw it to now absolutely loving it and refusing to consider anything else even worth looking at.
