No stranger, I think, than seeing only 1 member of Joy Division do a full tour of a Joy Division album. That being said Hook's distinctive bass sound is one of the components that make the New Order sound. It's a shame these 2 individuals can't make nice for the millions of fans.

In another topic I just mentioned Pet Shop Boys being my worst concert experience ever, saw Underworld in the same venue many years ago & they were great!  I would rate them #3 in concert performances I have seen only behind Bowie & Gus Gus. I have the Everything Everything DVD (same tour I saw) and still play it.

I only own one of their LP's, the self-titled one, and it's the only release I'm really familiar with, but I like that record a lot. I don't know very many "Queercore" bands, but they're one of the better groups I have heard. PS: Those Strong Boys songs sounded pretty good. I may order the record when it's available. Assuming I'm not broke, which I always am. ;D PPS: Kudos on the Germs-inspired motif.

@scoyng: I told him they were just run-of-the-mill Sennheiser's and cost about $300. Are you crazy? That's not just some earplugs. The most expensive ones I've bought were from Skull Candy of €30,- and that's a lot of money when you're a student. Sadly I've lost them while traveling by public transportation. They had a great sound… Now I have older version of the in-ear plugs (the silecon ones) from Apple. I've bought them for just €10,- and strangely they are even better than the original ones (€79,-) that a friend of mine has. I know that they aren't that good, but they do the job!
