    @pupash Jesus, how many people do I need to try and save from the ban-hammer before somebody reads the effing site rules??? UPLOAD REQUESTS ARE BANNED, JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE WHO POST THEM! IT HAS BEEN THIS WAY FOR OVER 5 YEARS NOW! PLEASE go and read the site rules. The mods enforce them, and I'm bored of seeing people getting banned and even more bored of trying to warn people that they're asking to be banned. Sorry, I'm normally more polite but I've had too much coffee and it's hot as fuck here right now, but seriously, do yourself a favour and read the rules. And either delete this or change the wording very carefully.

    @oblodsy I think I'm one of the few people who didn't care for this series. I often find RTDs work a bit formulaic - always a poor boy written in who we are all supposed to feel sorry for and secretly root for (Vince, Colin etc) but I've enjoyed his past stuff. This one I couldn't get on with. If I didn't know different, I would say it was written by a woman. I found some of it ridiculous - the decisions made were so extraordinary that they felt ridiculous and contrived to try to hammer in a point. Not for me.

    If it's Star Trek, I'm going to watch it. I have enjoyed every series to varying degrees. However, Discovery, Picard & Strange New Worlds, for me, all tie for last place. I was starting to really enjoy Star Fleet Academy. But it will be (has been) canceled after the 2nd season, scheduled for 2027. Just when it started getting interesting, and characters started coming to life. Probably too "woke" for the current political state, with a gay Klingon, and a lesbian couple as main characters.

    I so wanted to love the show and part of me does, but the treatment of the companions has been a deal-breaker for me. Nearly every companion arc ends horribly and to me, for no other reason than gratification of the show-runner.  Rose is trapped, Donna had entire years of her life erased, Amy and Rory were sacrificed, Clara as well (essentially - but definitely Danny, now that I think about that arc), and also Bill.  Martha somehow managed to survive and then there's Jack, but Jack was immortal before he met The Doctor.  Just… sours the rest of it for me. Perhaps 13 will be better.

But, when Guillermo del Toro won Best Director, I'm pretty sure that the movie will win Best Picture.

    I watched it.  It's slice of life so I can't get over that.  It's so quiet.  They weren't really talking about their feelings. From the novel wiki, Elio sleeps with Oliver, then Marzia (the girl) then goes back to Elio.  It's like he tested the waters of whether he liked vag or cock, hehe. In the movie, he slept with the girl twice before staying with Oliver. I was tickled that Elio's father had a gay experience too, hehe

    I quite like Sam Smith, but only in small doses. On small doses he's another good version of 'tortured singer with great voices'. I particularly like Lay Me Down and Stay With Me. But listening to him in succession made me feel that something in his songs felt… not artificial, just overwrought. Like he's trying extra hard to make his songs all Grand Love Suffering and Angst and losing a bit of rawness in there.

    I'm current in love with The SpongeBob musical… I was in shock with how good it was. It's very funny, with a lot of heart. I was not expecting at all to like it as much as i did.
