I've heard. I couldn't live in the US if I wanted to. The US is one big trigger for me: I have a short fuse for idiocy. On the plus side, watching Japanese news anchors have to explain why American suddenly started wearing vagina pink hats on their heads was priceless. Watching America unravel while I've been over here broke my heart. I could rant at length but I have a hunch you'd already know my gripes.

In translating between A and B a lot is lost. Translating to any Latin or Germanic language from any of the Asian languages makes those translations 1000 times more difficult because there are subtleties built into each language.      In Japanese they have keigo, honorifics based on age and social position. Translations often make Japanese sound more polite and distant than it actually is and makes for terrible translations when taken literally. The same is true for Korea. How, exactly, do you sink an island? Kim's words are bluster and people here understand that.    As for seeking shelter, be aware of the bias in the news you watch. There's a need to cast the tiny little-impoverished country of North Korea as a supervillain capable of destroying the US. That way of thinking about individuals terrorists gave us The Patriot Act. Those misdirections in the news made it okay to bomb Iraq and Afghanistan.      No one went looking for shelter when NK sent rockets over Japan. Not even close. They did broadcast it on the news and that's all they talked about for the hour or so it happened. What's odd to me is that NK has launched missiles over Japan before with much less fuss. What's different? PM Abe wants to pass his amendments changing the constitution. Nothing says we need an army like a country flying missiles over your northernmost, least densely populated region. In regards to translation, I'm glad you mentioned that.  Specifically,  translating between Chinese and English is damned near impossible.

The only way I'll be ok with it is if I can have an exemption for starting an HSA, which Trump campaigned heavily on.

I don't doubt you, however, that is how Hillary says things without being held accountable for them.  For instance.. she often starts and interview or speech by spending 10 seconds saying how she takes responsibility for her loss…  then spends the next hour blaming everybody else for her loss. I want Trump to succeed. The economy, and my investments within the economy, have been made great again but too much else remains unchanged. I expected Hilary to lose.  The proof of that is on my Facebook account which got disabled.    The overconfidence of the moonbats that Hillary would win is probably the reason the bitch lost. Obamacare can't be fixed.  It is a futile disaster.  Insurance winds up benefiting those who abuse it, leaving those who need it with a big hurt in their pocketbooks, wallets, and murses.    The healthcare needed is one that doesn't FORCE people to buy it when they don't need it or want it.  And  certainly one that doesn't penalize people for NOT having it with fines. Despite congress failing to get much done, the Trump Effect is still having a massive effect.  The economy bounced back after the end of the Obama regime - and continues to rise.  Illegal immigration is way down, even though the wall is not yet there. To me, Trump can only DELAY the gloom and doom that is inevitable.  If Hillary had won, we would already be in the gloom and doom.  I pity children because their future is quite bleak.

CNN had to make yet another retraction… Of course we all knew this was the case all along, but you guys sat there and called him a liar. We knew this day would come... Hence, as Trump said right after the election.. Obama had the Trump Tower tapped. Of course, the media spend thousands of hours propagating a lie.. but when there is a retraction, that is about 10 seconds.

Compare the rate of temperature increases and sea level increases with the rate of debt that Sheik Osama accumulated during his 8 year occupation of the White House.  Obama increased that debt nearly 100% in just 8 years.  The rate of climate change and tides over that period is virtually nothing.. far smaller than the record low 3% economic growth rate of Obama's reign. So.. what is the issue that is the bigger concern? That is like the difference between a mosquito bite and falling into a wood chipper.    Or burning the roof of your mouth on hot pizza compared to being thrown into a volcano.
