The protest is based on lies and purposely misleading stats. Blacks make up 13% of the US population. Blacks make up 54-56% of the violent crimes. Blacks make up 43% of cop killers.   I haven't seen an stats on wounding police by race. Blacks make up 26% of the people shot (wounded or killed) by police. Black cops are the most likely to shoot, while white cops are the least likely to shoot. Less than 0.9% of ALL police shootings are "unjustified". Studies have shown that there is no "kill all da blacks" mentality in the police. The only thing studies have shown is that cops are more physically aggressive when arresting blacks.  This is due to the fact that blacks resist arrest more. This is the problem.   When talking about the issues, you can't leave out huge chunks and have an honest conversation.    It's something we see with BLM, feminists and every other SJW.     They are purposely dishonest. The first-hand reports I've read said the people on the ground thought the bullets were coming from someone on the street. The attack was unprecedented. The facts are still coming in. Jumping to conclusions and blaming the police isn't the answer. Let the events unfold to see the complete, or more complete, timeline. That is what I initially thought.. however, this morning they were playing the recordings of the police communications.  They were very nervous and almost panicking.. and they spotted the flashes coming from the Mandalay Hotel shortly after the shooting began.  There is no excuse for them to take 72 minutes to reach the guy. As for them helping the victims.. that is their job.  I will add one thing though.. Firemen are quite a bit different from police.  They go into hyperdrive whenever the alarm sounds.  In fact, firemen often go into high gear only to find out it's a false alarm.  Police however, drag their asses when a call goes out.  They hope that all the action is over with by the time they arrive.

If you're one of the few that can get a gun for hunting there's a strict procedural: First, you must pass a test and retake that test every few years; the police come to your home each time you take that test; you have to prove you are mentally sound. The police have to request permission to check a gun out from the station and every bullet is (supposed to be) accounted for. In all my years here there has only been one shooting and that was between Yakuza in Kyusyu. Japan has the right idea on gun control!

@raphjd: I've always hated that taxpayers have to build stadiums for wealthy cunts to make more money. I was so happy when Houston stood up to Bud Adams and the Oilers. Even worse is when the team gets a massive amount of taxpayer money to build a stadium… and in exchange they sign a contract to stay in that stadium,  But then, after a few years, the team starts bitching that the stadium is obsolete and they need a new one.  Then they decide they want out of their contract entirely so they can move the team completely out of the area.  A contract means noting when a bit of fast cash is waved under the noses of councilmen who have the authority to vacate the contract. I have some experience with this personally.  About 20 years ago, I got the task of detailing all the steel for a new scoreboard at Tampa Stadium where the Tampa Bay Bucaneers play.  It was massive and state-of-the-art.  They screwed me over by only paying me half of what they agreed to for my work because the deadline to complete the work was missed.  That is also bullshit.. because I finished 5 months before the deadline, but they continued to make changes to the design for months after giving me the job.  I wound up doing that job 3 times because of all their changes.  They should have been charged for revisions, but instead they screwed me.  Anyway, it took a year to build the new scoreboard... but just 10 years later, they again decided they needed a new scoreboard to replace that one!

Windows phone was shit because app makers and others had to pay to be approved in order to be put on the app store.    The cost to get approved was outrageous.  Microsoft put in too many rules that put off devs to make things.

As for the poll, this was done several years ago across the US. All racial groups, including blacks, said that blacks were the most racist group.  In fact, more blacks said blacks were the most racist and any other race said blacks were racist. I think it's because black are constantly told, by liberals and others, that black can never, ever be racist no matter what they do.  This allows them to do things that no other group, but especially whites, can do.
