@raphjd: To play college sports, you have to be an amateur.     Amateurs can't get paid for playing. The Olympics used to be that way, but other countries started cheating, so we joined in. Yes.. and the concept is that some STUDENTS at a university play on a football team.. like in high school. That is a farce.  College football players are at those universities to play football.  Same for basketball and baseball. What blows my mind is how a college football coach is paid $75,000,000 over 10 years.  A more appropriate salary would be $750,000 over 10 years.     ($7.5 million per year vs $75 thousand a year).   I won't mention my academic prowess because nobody would believe me anyway.. suffice it to say that I never got a salary even as good as a stinking cop gets.. and all a cop needs is a high school diploma or GED. Hopefully a pot of gold is in my future though.. we shall see. Take a look at what the military pays.. My own observations: People developing dementia can hide the symptoms for years.  Everyone forgets things.  Everyone does something weird once in a while.  There's something called Paramnesia where you 'remember' things that haven't actually happened (there's an example of an American President who recounted the plot of a movie he was in as something he had done in real life to a group of veterans.) It's when things collapse that people get diagnosed.  I work with people who on most occassions can pass; unless you know that the little boy they are looking for is in his 50s, that they aren't allowed to keep money in their room as they look for their purse, that this is the third time in an hour that you've had the exact same conversation with them. People can die in very short times after dementia affects their mind.  What ever is causing the damage to the parts of the brain involved in memory, emotion, and thought can also damage the parts of the brain involved in breathing, swallowing, and body temperature regulation. There is no good death from the point of view of the loved ones.

Whenever there is a coup, the party performing it will deny it is a coup. But technically it's always a coup, independently of the intentions of the ones performing it. So the question is: Is this a coup for better or for worse?

@raphjd: If he wants to express his religious views to students, under UK law, he could do that at a religious school. Oh didn't know that! In that regard UK schools are the same as Mexican ones. Still, considering what's going on, it is a snowball of accusations: one part goes: 'He offended me because I'm xx', then the accused part goes: 'They're after me because I'm a yy' and it goes on and on.

Original Beiber was such a girly boy.  It was kinda creepy watching gay guys drool over him/her. I haven't really paid attention to him, but he definitely fuckable, at least for a while, though.

@Mcjl: Has anyone seen that the spacey drama may involve charges being filed is this for real ? All the allegations I've seen are ancient history. Unless he's done something where there's proof, I can't imagine it happening. However, they do seem to be ready to prosecute Weinstein.

@JohnAllenson: I went to my big gay choir rehearsal.  I had hot apple cider.  the choir had a costume contest.  While there was a street party outside I just headed home. Such a festive time!  Was the children's choir rehearsing as well?
