Teen says Sandusky chased him in car as he ran away: ABC NEW YORK (Reuters) - The 18-year-old who triggered the prosecution of Jerry Sandusky for sexually abusing him and nine other boys told ABC News the former Penn State coach once chased him down with his car as he tried to flee. Aaron Fisher, previously known as Victim 1, has revealed his identity since testifying against Sandusky at his June trial. Sandusky, 68, was convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Fisher was just 10 when he met Sandusky through the former coach's charity for at-risk children, The Second Mile, in 2004. At first, Sandusky seemed like "the all-natural father figure," Fisher told ABC in the "20/20" interview broadcast on Friday night. But after a year of box seats at Penn State football games and weekend trips with the coach, Fisher said he was being sexually abused in Sandusky's basement, leaving him confused and ashamed. "Being a kid, you never know what to do. You don't know who you can tell because you don't know who you can trust," he said on ABC. The attacks continued for years, with Sandusky misusing his position as a volunteer coach to pull the boy out of class. Fisher's attempts to hide or flee were met with a tightened leash, and Sandusky became aggressive. "He once followed my bus home from school," Fisher said. "I took off running but he drove on the opposite side of the street, onto oncoming traffic to catch up with me. I ran up an alley and he went to my house and parked out front." Fisher has revealed his identity in interviews before the October 23 release of his book "Silent No More: Victim 1's Fight for Justice Against Jerry Sandusky," published by Random House. "A victim means people feel sympathy for you. I don't want that. I would rather be somebody that did something good, like a hero or something," Fisher told ABC. When he was 15, Fisher broke down and told his mother, Dawn Daniels, and the school's principal, Karen Probst, that Sandusky was sexually abusing him. "Aaron was melting down in the office," Daniels told ABC. "I immediately told them we need to call the police." But the school principal advised her to go home and think over her next steps. "They said that Jerry has a heart of gold and that he wouldn't do those type of things," Daniels said. Instead, Daniels told the principal she would be calling Clinton County Children and Youth Services. School officials, legally mandated to make such reports, called too. Probst did not return calls from Reuters for comment. It took three years, two grand juries and a lengthy search for more victims before Sandusky was arrested in November 2011, just before Fisher's 18th birthday. The long delay in prosecuting Sandusky drove Fisher to attempt suicide, he told ABC, especially when investigators told him they needed to find more victims. "You start to doubt yourself," Fisher said. "I thought maybe it would be easier to take myself out of the equation. I was extremely suicidal. "It's a fact that I lost a good portion of my childhood," he told ABC. "I endured heartaches and numerous amounts of people who didn't believe me and walked away from me." @macantony: MrMazda is correct. Enforcement is a BIG issue. I am from the USA, but I live in Mexico now. Back home in the USA internet access is already very restricted.. and the average user doesn't even realize it. In Mexico I can access many sites and download/upload material that I simply cannot even access in the USA. In Mexico, I can buy copies of movies (or almost anything), and somtimes, movies not even released yet. In the marketplace is not uncommon to hear people ask "Is this a copy?" Given what I have just said - Mexcio has similair laws protecting copyrights and infringement that the USA has. The difference? ENFORCEMENT. I somewhat disagree with this; although it is true that the US enforces its IP laws more often, the "difference" is far more complex. That said, it is not difficult to find physical DVDs with copied movies for sale in the US if you know where to look. That said, it should be noted that Mexico has less developed infrastructure and fewer people have access to the internet in a capacity that would allow them to transfer large amounts of data; thus there is greater demand for physical media than in the United States. The same woman has been selling pirated DVDs on various subway trains in New York City for at least 4 years; probably longer. It wouldn't be that hard to catch her, the police just have better things to do with their time. As for the internet being "restricted" in the US, I'm not sure what you're talking about– I've yet to fail to find something that I wanted to download, excepting exceedingly rare things that often aren't even available legally licensed, either. Any site that uses geoblocking is easily averted through the use of proxies and querying foreign DNS servers if they are blocked that way locally. All in all, it's clear that the "pirates" will eventually win in the end-- no matter what is done by governments and companies to control things, people will always find a way around them. A good example of this is the proverbial Great Firewall of China. Despite the entire internet infrastructure being subject to government control and censorship, people are able to punch through. The governments of the world aren't even able to stop people from counterfeiting money, doing drugs or murdering people-- what makes people think they will truly be able to stop people from copying media? At a base level, no matter how much is done, the basic fact that movies are visual media means that someone can sit there with a video camera and record a screen, and use a microphone for audio. Of course, such copies would suck, but if it comes to that, people will (and already do, for example, recording in movie theaters to release before DVDs).

Hm, I personally would not do such a thing, as I am satisfied with my own penis, and if it's not good enough for someone else, they are clearly too obsessed with looks to be worth having a relationship with– and I certainly wouldn't do this for someone I'm not in a relationship with. That said, if I had an inordinately small penis, I might consider it-- only because there is a definite limit to how small a penis can be before it become unproductive in producing pleasure for the other person, at least if while topping. I don't like to relegate myself to one role only. If anything large penises are, in my opinion, worse than "average" ones, I can only take so much pain before it overrides and pleasure I could derive out of such a thing

Today was the day of SOPA/PIPA protest, and apparently it DID have an effect. 13 Republican and 1 Democratic senator switched sides, and now oppose PIPA rather than support it. It now has only about 35 supporters in the Senate. SOPA support in the House also dropped today. But it was already dead, as the president indicated he would veto SOPA if the bill passed Congress.

It's a sad reality, but perhaps this could go a long way in the end to getting more widespread support for gay rights being human rights. After all in the end, it could be argued that such an example proves scientifically that the myth of gays being "inferior" to heterosexuals is a complete myth based on pure documented fact.

@leatherbear: William Branon, chairman of the J Edgar Hoover Foundation, is reported to have written in a letter to Eastwood: "It would be a grave injustice and monumental distortion to proceed with such a depiction, based on a completely unfounded and spurious assertion." How awful of them to slander Hoover — a man who was able to advance his own bureaucratic, political and moralistic agenda through indirect blackmail, bugging, warrantless wiretapping, black-bag jobs, evasions of Attorney General directives, lying, self-serving manipulation of formal authorizations, CO-INTEL-PRO, surveillance of domestic radicals, subversion of civil rights movements, and harrassment of their leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr. — a man that Hoover once described as "a disgusting tomcat with obsessive, degenerate sexual urges who could well qualify for the top alley cat prize." How can Eastwood get away with this unfair and mean spirited portrayal of a man who was obviously a pillar of the law-enforcement community? ???

That is a rather interesting twist. It would be interesting to take a careful examination of the full email headers to see where they may have originated from and if there could possibly be any connection to the now debunked law-firm, or if the emails are genuinely a forgery. Something tells me though that the emails are no forgery and that further sleazy business practice is still being conducted under an alter-ego. It certainly wouldn't be the first time that a scammer has pulled such a stunt.

There's a whole universe between some dickhead keeping a gun in a household where there are kids and it isn't stored in an absolute secure place, and having an unsecured Wi-Fi. Comparing the two by the law firm is utterly abhorent. In other words, re the 70 year old woman… 'she was asking for it'. Oppenents should have used that tact against them and watched the misery being heaped on the shysters. I've done plenty of unofficial IT work for friends and family who got pcs and the internet with relatively little thought of the dangers/hassle both can have. The risks a completely undersold by all concerned in selling the products, because it does take a certain degree of skill and knowledge to secure yourself. I think what's missing these days are the 'nanny state' public information films of the 70s to warn people of possible threats, ironically it was announced the UK government dept that produced such retro delights as ... not running around corners, putting rugs on polished floors, and flying kites near electricity pylons, was to close. IMO there is a crying need for more education when it comes to the home technology. As for these legal actions against downloaders, it is clearly extortion dressed up as legal action,  as seen in the case against ACS:Law in the UK

We don't allow parents to scar, tattoo, plate lip, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc their children, so why should we allow them to cut part of their cock off? Ironically, Scotland, then England (possibly Wales too), used the data on baby male circumcision to ban dog tail docking and ear cropping, but still allow human parents to mutilate their male children.

I understand that the bully was also around six years old. I know bullying is very common in school, but at such an early age and so violent…  :afr: I wonder if being stabbed to death would have been considered a major incident or just good riddance of a "future sinner" if it is a very homophobic region. And all homophobes, at least in my country play the kids card. Like the kids psychic will be destroyed if he finds out that there are same sex couples or sees one. Or that it will turn them gay. So we need to protect the poor children. Off topic, with kids these days, we need protection from them. What about gay children? Don't they need protection from violence? Don't the need to see that they aren't some freaks - that there are people like him.
