@john32123666 by the time being your brain fills the gaps better than the reencoding: because is used to poor video content vs reality. Most old NTSC analog to digital converted video suck, but you fill the gaps among the noise and blur and chroma aberrations You also don't mention the movement artifacts due to blocking "correction", invisible in video stills. For me its the worst part I haven't seen corrected yet. As any other content if you don't like it don't download it, but Its true that, having the "original" video can lead to better reconstructions in the future, because most reconstruction levels can be achieved in real time (with a player) at this moment. Current good AI reconstruction can lead to better overall experience in a lower size file, which is good.

Just to chime in with some relevant Canadian case law... In the case of Voltage Pictures VS TekSavvy Solutions Inc (an independent Canadian ISP), it was argued and ruled that an IP address alone is insufficient information with which to make a legal claim for three main reasons. An IP address alone may identify the subscriber of the service used, however it does not prove who the physical end-user of the device used actually was. An IP address alone does not prove that the contents were downloaded in their entirety, or that they were shared with anyone else. An IP address alone does not verify the device that was being used to commit the act. Given that these have been accepted as being reasonable objections, it is likely that in any common law country, that the courts would take the same stand.

@wrongagain You reminded me of another disaster... when someone posts a collection - which may have some good content - BUT the filenames are RANDOM! Do I have hours to search through hundreds of titles to find the one I want? "Oh, yes! It's 23aafFagawt437-qz0.mp4"

@mwesb1978-0 There's another application called "Auto Movie Thumbnailer" ( https://funk.eu/amt/ ) that lets you put a whole folder of many videos and then in makes a folder with .jpg thumbnails for each video. This can be really handy if you have a lot of videos in the torrent and want to give a thumbnail image for each one. (I wish more users did this.) Thanks for your desire to have these thumbnails, regardless of what software you end up using. I know other users will appreciate your efforts.

Although I have not done it yet, I am told that it can be done. Of course you have to include the TRACKER and your KEY. I am not sure how images or descriptions or categories get attached. Perhaps AFTER the torrent shows up on this site, you can ADD those things later by editing the torrent. The last few times I attempted to use QTM, my torrents failed to complete the "backend" process. I HAVE successfully used Utorrent to create torrents. Oddly, you do not even HAVE to specify a tracker (which is kind of scary since you have no control).
