[image: 1703735707867-853f2dfd-d3d7-4869-b976-7866fa7ff60a-image.png] This photo isn't the greatest, BUT it is interesting enough to get me to download the movie. The problem is, this is NOT in the movie! Those cocks have been enhanced, and in the movie, that guy is not sucking two cocks at once. Also in the movie, his hair is a mess. It's stringy and all over the place. This image was carefully staged and posed. ClickBait.

@JohnAllenson: I'm pretty sure I don't want to guess about "most gay men".  I'll talk about myself. I definitely download both.  This site is porn specific so I download more porn from here than tv shows and movies.  There's also a lot more porn available than there are movies or tv shows. I'm also picky about the things I like in both porn and non-porn entertainment.  I love shows like Schitt's Creek, Teen Wolf, Donald Strachey mysteries, and Sense8.  Call Me by Your Name was like watching beautiful paint dry. So, I don't care more about downloading porn than I do downloading gay theme.  There's just a lot more porn available. "Most gay men," was meant in the general sense. I do agree with being picky concerning gay movies. I remember complaining about that very thing. It seemed as though there was no real diversity in themed gay movies. Lately I've only desired to watch gay documentaries instead of movies, 'cause I just get annoyed of all these "twink oriented movies." I like movies that are more real life. Although, with this push for "diversity," we don't necessarily have to look for "gay themed" movies anymore, as more LGBT characters have stronger lead roles. I really enjoyed a show called "The Originals," which seemed like half the darn cast was LGBT. I was pissed when they cancelled it. I also loved "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt." That shit was fucking funny!!! @flozen: I admire JA's even-handedness regarding gay porn and non-porn media.  And I like that he's picky. But to answer the question at hand, i must admit I spend more time with my precious gay porn.  Ah, sweet, sweet gay porn. If I see one more cute-meets-cute, coming-of-age gay movie, surely my head will explode.  Still, I like varied "mainstream" gay movies, as deep as Moonlight, as campy as La Cage… (JA, I love Schitt's Creek, but am apparently the only gay person who found Call Me a little too formulaic and gauzy.  Let's have a slap-fight later.) :bithfight:    :bithfight:    :bithfight: That's precisely why I like these conversations, you get to learn what other people are watching, and it helps bypass all the movies we'd be wasting our time on. @raphjd: I like both equally. I tend to DL every english language theme video that's posted.

@yyyzachary: I remember I was only into bondage at the beginning. I was very young then, around 12 I think, in my last years of elementary school. When I got to watch TV series with male bondage and torture scenes in them, I would be very excited, yet very ashamed of myself. I didn't even know how to masturbate at the time but I am certain I was sexually aroused by those scenes. Is this weird? How far does your own fetish date back to? Another thing is that, more than a decade went by and now I am not only into bondage, but also foot fetish, piss, sweat, verbal abuse, light torture, domination, puppification, humiliation… Are you guys like that too? Sometimes I wonder if I am really into some of the things I listed above, though. Because I actually tried bondage and torture and puppification with a few guys, but I didn't even get hard. It's like I am only into them when I watch porn, which is very confusing I don't know if what I have is considered a fetish. I haven't really defined what that means for me. They still feel like strong attractions to me. Such as chubby & hairy bears. I guys when I was young one could call it a fetish, as I tried everything in my power to get magazines that had hairy c hubbies. It was a scary thing growing up, since no one even knew something called "the internet" even existed. Bringing home those beautiful magazines of bear men, rapped in Brown paper. I felt like I was in that show "Mission Impossible," trying to safely get my secret home without being exposed. Yeah, I guess it was a bit of a fetish… LOLOL -AOS ;D

So, some answers.  I've had two paid published stories in SFF and am working on getting novels published. 1/  If your first novel is interesting but riddled with spelling/grammar/syntax errors publishers won't buy it since readers won't read it. 2/  The cost of editing has shifted from the publisher to the author since when Stephen King started out.  I know several professional editors working in SFF.  You should also consider using non-professional editors (AKA Betas).  The reality is that it does not matter how good a writer you are or how much experience you have; the book inside your head is richer and more fleshed out than the book someone else is reading. 3/ I live in Canada and have some knowledge about the publishers here.  When you sell a book you are also selling specific rights.  It's rare that you can sell a book to more than one publisher - even if they are in separate countries or separate languages.  The exceptions I've seen:  getting permission to sell in a tiny minority language (Aboriginal authors who have a major publisher for English but do a run in their own language) or the case when a publisher reverts the rights to the author after a period of time. Since you say the original novel isn't in English, I recommend you check with a writer's association in that language for more relevant information on publishing standards.

We started a working group to promote diversity at work.  I was voted to represent the company recently but I'm not necessarily a rep in that aspect.

We don't like to ban people unless it's absolutely needed. If we can get them to change their habits, thats what we prefer.

The style is a mark, a brand, so changing it means to take risks. And as long as they're making enough profit, aren't bored enough with it well… One could only hope for something new. And it's not a sole symptom of Tim Tales, it must be extremely difficult not get too look-a-like making porn after some time.
