@blablarg18 "Voting" for what? To decide if people have the right to make an honest living if they go through the relevant procedures to migrate?
That's like if the whole kitchen had to decide if they would serve a customer on McDonald's before serving them... It's just wasted time. Villages are often the target for migration, because the cost of living is usually lower than a big city's. It's just common sense. Most people are going into a country because they can't live well in theirs, more often than not.
Making the average person vote is not only slow and resource-draining, but also the purpose of the screening IS filtering people to allocate them somewhere they would be a better fit if necessary in the first place. That's the whole point of procedure and the documentation they ask of you. The whole procedure was made so that you WOULDN'T have to vote. That's why it's standardized. No one voted on tax rates, foreign aid, or trade deals either. That's what electing representatives is for.
It's for that reason that that I really do believe it's a race thing. You guys don't know anything about immigration and are just parroting what you see online, without actually thinking about what you're saying, or at least bothering to investigate things further.
And again, you guys brought race and descent into this in the first place. If it was so color-blind as you claim, the title of the thread wouldn't be literally "Ukraine to replace itself with Africans, Latin druggies, Asians". Nor would you guys be defending yourself every post with a variant of "I'm not racist, I swear", or using terms like "you and your ilk".
You just like generalizing people, using migration (a topic that you're clearly not familiar with) and "democracy" as an excuse, without actually wanting to engage in meaningful conversation.
You just want to really say "I am uncomfortable with any kind Mexican or black people around me", but that doesn't fly with most, so you're clinging onto this "it's definitely not a race thing guys!! [skull emoji] [facepalm emoji] Wow, libtards, amirite?" It's that kind of stance that I cannot tolerate, regardless of if the person disagrees with me or not. If you don't want immigrants, at least be honest about why that is, and stop turning the word "democracy" into another buzzword.
