I took the plunge and bought a 6" Wi-Fi Kindle. I had got out the habit of reading, and when I did read in bed it was uncomfortable holding a book. I find the Kindle easy to use and easy on the eye. I'm probably still going through a honeymoon period with it.  Using the device itself to browse for books is a bit cumbersome, so I tend to browse from the pc and send books to the Kindle. I'm a fan of the Amazon site so I don't feel restricted to being tied to it for books. There are stacks of good free books to explore and cheap bargains to find, with several websites listing the freebies available. This is particularly useful as Amazon don't make it easy to find them beyond the 'free top100'  listings

The first thing you need to be clear about, is that you got two IP addresses: 1/ Your public IP of your modem/router to the outside world. This works only if you give in your PC network connection properties a fixed local IP (or all your torrent programme, computer system and touter/modem support and have activated UPnP, respectively the Mac equivalent NAT-PMT) Think to this your PC being a visitor in a hotel with a manual telephone switch board. Your router/modem being the rectionist. Someone calls the hotel telephone number (public IP) and ask for guest (port) X, the receptionist looks which room he got and connects to his room number (local IP). If that is not set-up correctly, incomming request will usually not reach your torrent programme and will not be answered, result lower seeding rates.

Don't worry I have the same problem  I think I could not get a new book for a few years and I won't run out of reading material. Actually my books would last me 17 years  :afr: (with a book a day) and I still get every new one I see. As for starting check out books description, see them on goodreads or similar site and see what people think of the book. I usually read the reviews of people who don't like the book to see whats not to like. Maybe I even like the stuff reviewer didn't like. Do not trust ratings too much. There are too many women reading MM erotic books and if it's not too cute (?), they might not like it and rating goes down. Hate it when more serious, good books get bad ratings for being complicated instead of simple. Well, I hope you and everyone else enjoys reading this collection  :police: and many to come  :cheesy2:.

Aside from the spelling mistakes, which I still laugh at, the thing that kills me is when they accidentally change a characters name in the middle of a story.  John becomes Fred, for a paragraph, and I'm like who the heck is Fred.  Only to go back to John.  Does anyone actually read these for simple typos? I don't mind how they make their characters, but if you're going to have a feminine character, then make it a feminine man.  I agree with naughty on that one, but its not the character as much as the writing. Another issue I have is how the story ends.  I don't mean HEA, but don't spend the entire book setting things up, only to finish it all in the last page.  I just feel like "what just happened".  I looks like the author was tired of writing and stopped.  There are a few author's that do that, and I won't even buy their books anymore. It wasn't just one book, I gave them a fair shot.  One author I even read 5-6 books, and every story ended like slamming the door in my face.  So no more of that one. Another issue, that someone reminded me of is unreal sex scenes.  I mean come on, Fisting on the hood of a car, on a public road, with little lube and no prep?  really??? I could go on and on, but the only issue really that could be fixed is the grammar and typos.  I mean really.

Taiwan, also been said it has the best healthcare in the world… We have a public insurance scheme that all citizens and residents must be a part of, costs about $20 USD a month or more, depending on your income. For that the cost to see a doctor for most things are really cheap. For example, a CAT scan costs about $15 dollars, X rays costs the same, etc.. Medicine is also subsidized and is very cheap for what they are. You can go to a hospital, get a CAT scan, X ray, Ultrasound, get prescribed medicine, and your bill comes to about $30 total. The only problem is you wait a LONG time to see a doctor if you walk in because people here will see a doctor if they get a slight fever or cough... and so doctors must sort through all those "cold symptoms" and find the more serious conditions to treat (the "cold symptoms" patients are given cold medicine and sent on their way). This can sometimes mean that diseases go undiagnosed, especially when some diseases have cold like symptom. There are also doctors that do not participate in the healthcare scheme and they do remind you how much healthcare should normally cost! Private insurance are available and are often life, accident, and medical insurance all rolled into one. They cover what the public scheme do not cover.

I LOVE audio books! It makes taking the train easier than it was trying to read a book. I get distracted easily so with paper books I lose my pages often. As for m/m audio I have read quite a few good ones and quite a few terrible ones. The worst by far was a AJ Llewellyn book. It was abridged with no mention of that and the narrator was TERRIBLE! Now the same narrator does a few books on Audible and I am skipping them just because of him.  Also a few short audios by one pub are all read by an author that is from England (or possibly Scotland, I forget right now) which is fine except that the 2 books I listened to are USA cowboy stories. That is just frustrating.
