Yeah, it's a huge connection in my case, I have a buddy which also about my age. He is straight and knows that I'm gay, he is always acting verbal and physical, more older then he is, especially when he knew that i grown up without a father. I always liked mature men, and chose them. I started analyze this and came to conclusion, that I don't like younger or my age, only mature. I think it's because that I grown up without father, and always try to find ideal "dad" for me.
