i wouldnt say that MODS avoid questioning .
Imagine , if somebody would inform you about a ( might be ) problem , you try to convince yourself about mentioned fact 1st before answering.
As for your statement it depends over which period you have been watching .You have to consider that besides of vaccation-time , GT has the new rule that new members are allowed by invitation only and open registration is only possible on a designed day of the month . Users with double accounts have been banned etc etc . So the origin amount of members diminished.In addition some people might have a saturation in downloading and rather like to view their downloads before they download again .Another point that takes influence on the leecher-rate is , how you " praise " your video and what kind of video it is .I think you will agree with me, that the demand for videos showing younger people ( twens ) of legal age or certain fetish movies is higher than a softcore one .Videos with " hot pictures " are more likely to be downloaded than others.Its also like in real life : the smaller the offer , the higher is the demand .Lots of people have reached a low ratio , hence they are all uploading -

There's many reasons for downloads to slow down.
It's summer, more security measures means cheaters are getting banned more often, ratio restrictions, etc, etc, etc.
A lot of people did nothing in the 6 months that the new ratio requirements were announced before they went into effect and are now facing the issues from that.
Personally, I've slowed down on my porn downloading because right now I'm focusing on getting some TV series that I've always wanted and replacing tv rips with dvd rips.

I don't quite see the connection between that post and the topic of this thread, as to the question of are downloads down. Please explain more.FYI, I do agree that it seems downloads are down. All of the reasons given seem plausible. May be worth keeping an eye on as the site continues into fall.

Please understand that the amount of users may be falling but thats because most of them are either ratio cheaters or users with dupe accounts. I also think that you need to know that I was last online 12 hours ago and I currently have 23 PM from users. 9 of them are asking me to delete there account as they can't download anymore… they don't realise that even if I delete the account they will not be able to just join again and start sucking the life out of the site again...

At the moment the there are 4 main reason people have stopped downloading as much

Accounts disabled due to ratio cheating
-
accounts deleted due to dupe accounts
-
Users deleting their account thinking they can start another
And the main reason
- Users losing their download rights for not seeding enough

No , as my mother tongue is german , i may have used the wrong wording . By " serious " i understand that it is s.th you have to think about .
if you read his posting, you will understand what i mean . I understood , that it is not always good to be a power seeder and after i have read his posting a 2nd time , it was also plausible to me. -
