There's many reasons for downloads to slow down.
It's summer, more security measures means cheaters are getting banned more often, ratio restrictions, etc, etc, etc.
A lot of people did nothing in the 6 months that the new ratio requirements were announced before they went into effect and are now facing the issues from that.
Personally, I've slowed down on my porn downloading because right now I'm focusing on getting some TV series that I've always wanted and replacing tv rips with dvd rips.

I don't quite see the connection between that post and the topic of this thread, as to the question of are downloads down. Please explain more.FYI, I do agree that it seems downloads are down. All of the reasons given seem plausible. May be worth keeping an eye on as the site continues into fall.

Please understand that the amount of users may be falling but thats because most of them are either ratio cheaters or users with dupe accounts. I also think that you need to know that I was last online 12 hours ago and I currently have 23 PM from users. 9 of them are asking me to delete there account as they can't download anymore… they don't realise that even if I delete the account they will not be able to just join again and start sucking the life out of the site again...

I haven't been asked this before, so I will answer:
At the moment the there are 4 main reason people have stopped downloading as much

Accounts disabled due to ratio cheating
-
accounts deleted due to dupe accounts
-
Users deleting their account thinking they can start another
And the main reason
- Users losing their download rights for not seeding enough

No , as my mother tongue is german , i may have used the wrong wording . By " serious " i understand that it is s.th you have to think about .
if you read his posting, you will understand what i mean . I understood , that it is not always good to be a power seeder and after i have read his posting a 2nd time , it was also plausible to me. -

Thanks Sg for your accurate answer. i would like to think the renawal of people brings others kinds and this new one are much better, also when summer pass people return from holidays and downs getting high

I was watching different pages of categorys and you're right, maybe one of the causes downloads comes downs is cuz eveybodys upload offer is very big, everyones wants to raise ratio.
