trying to upload a mp4 and it keeps failing "dictionary is missing key(s)" can anyone help?

That means you haven't indicated a tracker URL while creating the torrent. Any valid URL will do, for example:
http://tracker.gaytor.rent:2710/announce

Create a new torrent indicating a tracker at creation.
