Whenever I try to log on to QTM I get a message that says "Cookes required.  Turn off any cookies mgmt program."  I have no clue what this means or how to fix it.  I've tried reinstalling QTM at least 3 dimes with no luck.  I'm running Windows 7  on a 64 bit PC.  Help!!

As a first step, can you make sure your Internet Explorer Internet Security setting is "medium-high", i.e. the default setting. Make as well your Firefox allowing cookies.

I am having the same problem.  As far as I can see all my settings are ok, I don't have cookie problems with anything else.  I am using windows 8.

Update:  I have reinstalled and now it works.  I might finally get to upload now!

You can try right click the mouse and then select the option "Run as administrator". After I did this, I can log in now.

Just an fyi to everyone with this issue, "running as administrator" is what fixed the issue for me.

I'm having same problem. "running as administrator" does not help. I've tried 4 different versions of QTM. Ver 1.10 gives me the cookie error. Ver 1.9, 1.5 and 1.3 allow me to log in but don't give me options for category.
I downloaded Ver 1.10 again and the new download doesn't work either.
I don't see anything on my computer that might be blocking my cookies. I've checked my security settings in IE and they are set at the default.
Does anyone else have an idea what to try next?

                    Don't use QTM…

I always use the Upload page to manually post. Not very hard as long as you remember to download your own torrent and start seeding with that 🙂

Running QTM as administrator also fixed it for me.

Bit of a revival on the dead topic part, however if Running as Admin doesn't fix this problem, and you have Malwarebytes Anti Malware's real time protection on your computer, turning it off, or allowing QTM will fix this issue as well.
