... a very good friend of mine (he is a well booked dj) inspired me to make this kinda off beat snares and kicks... he also did the main baseline

with these steps/tools was made the baby:

start w/a midi file (by robots) imported in Reason (used only leads, bass or pads)* created 4/8 bars loops with diffrents sounds/refills (4 very unusual sounds)* exported to wav all loops and bye bye Reason* open in Acid (4 mixdown) your song and all loops created before (your song remain untouched)* adds some "deep" drumloops, breaks, oneshots, voices, shoots and noises* played at 120 bpm* sometimes happened loses synchrony (or some flange) bcos the orig. source isn't a multitracks (u can make all in this way)* no effects has been added* exported to wav and bye bye Acid* just a little final editing in Soundforge (cuts, volume, etc)* tagged and saved to mp3@192* total time: 90 min. (not professional modality)
and a lot happiness for this theft….

I use CubaseSX3 as Sequencer…

no samples used in the whole track....
... I'm proudly own the Access Virus Plugin (Unlimited edition) for my Powercore MKII card...
All Sounds in that track came out of this Plugin... except the Drums...
for that one i use the Sounds from Stylus RMX

that all mixed down with my Scope Professional for more effects and the Final Mastering....

for Mastering i use from my Scope Platform the PsyQ, Spectral Balance and the Optimaster Plugin...

The same Setup is used in my Psycho Track...

got inspired from a HipHop Track i heard in the "Steal this Movie II" movie. A Documentary about our growing Filesharing Society… the Track is not really hip hop. (at least now 8-) )
