      (Couldn't figure out how to add this question in the 'support' section) I book-marked the site sign-in page [so I can acquire it easily]. I get to the security code & type it in properly, then hit 'Enter'. I am taken to the "404 error code" site not found. I hit backspace & suddenly I am logged in on the site even though it didn't work right from the sign in page.

      I am getting very used to signing in this way. It has happened just like this for the last month. Never fails. I scrub my browser EVERY time I close it & NO personal information is left in it. I use Chrome.

      Admin: please move this to wherever it should be. thank you.

          I have sometimes had a similar experience, not often but regularly.

          I too bookmark https://www.gaytor.rent/login.php. I too type in the security code correctly but am told it is incorrect. I too hit backspace to the signin page where the security box is now blank. If I then click the log-in button without entering anything in security box I'm logged in.

          I don't get the '404' error.

          Firefox and Windows7

            @cannonmc :

            FireFox is very bad in handling temporary internet files. Even if you manage to configure, that FireFox shouldn't read pages on your local drive, but request the actual pages from the server, it still saves former visited pages on your local drive and presents these page. "Normally" this isn't bad, because the browser is able to display the requested pages faster, but on sites which use temporary security codes it's pretty useless, because most of the time, the security code is the wrong ( old ) image and not the newly generated one, which is only valid a short time and only once.

            The fastest solution is to use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Safari, because these browsers handle this sort of issues in a much better way and you mostly won't have any problems on login pages. But if you insist on using FireFox on login pages, even if you are aware of the bad behaviour from FireFox, you should delete all temporary internet files and caches, BEFORE you open these login page.

            Another way would be to ask the coder of the sites, to use java, flash or ajax coding, when it comes to generating temporary securiry codes, because FireFox does handle these correctly. ^^

              I use myself Firefox, but never get the 404 error. What I get is the security code wrong message, if Firefox presents an old security code image.
              The work around there is to refresh the page, so a new security code is generated and the right new corresponding image displayed.

              Could you please copy and paste the link you use to the login page from your bookmark's properties.

                I rarely have problems with FF accessing anything and when I do it is usually the server down at the other end. I would only use IE in an emergency.

                My bookmark is the one in my reply above 🙂

                PS I don't get the 404 error, I get 'Incorrect security code' occasionally
