I’m not sure if this will help with your issue, BUT! I tried three browser-based (website-hosted) torrent downloading services. Two of them—including webtor.io, which works WITHOUT a VPN—successfully downloaded my test file. "Gaytor" also detects the download and shows activity. One other service, however, fails to detect anything and just keeps searching for peers indefinitely. This suggests the problem isn't related to blocks imposed by Roskomnadzor (RKN), as the service itself initiates the request and is clearly based outside the country.

While you can use these tools to get the files you really need, unfortunately, they don't allow for seeding (uploading). That’s the worst part—it’s simply wrong and unfair, and not just because it hurts your ratio/rating. The search for a proper solution continues.

@snab Похоже, здесь имеет место блокировка с использованием технологии DPI (глубокого анализа пакетов). В такой ситуации вам стоит воспользоваться VPN-сервисом, поддерживающим функцию «скрытого VPN» (Stealth VPN). В PrivateVPN такая возможность есть, но её нужно активировать отдельно. Рекомендую использовать порт TCP 443 вместо TCP 22 — это должно помочь обойти проблему.

@hrund Доброго времени суток, проблема с отсутствием отдачи трафика и сидирования загруженных раздач gaytor.rent имеется и у меня так же неделю! Я сталкивался с аналогичной ситуацией при работе с другим частным трекером (проблема с ним так и не получила решения и я ничего больше не загружаю только периодически просматриваю анонсы раздач!) Подозреваю что причина отсутствия обмена трафиком кроется в блокировании провайдером ip адреса сервера обмена трафиком (announce) https://tracker.gaytor.rent и нужно искать способы как эту блокировка обойти, я сейчас пытаюсь изучить эту проблему. Ждём кто подскажет решения.

а с pornolab.net все качает (выделено красным) без всяких vpn и с других площадок всех загрузка идет, ну так же не может быть что-бы заблочили один сайт, причем сам саит доступен

@snab По совету коллеги с этого трекера поменял в торрент-файле имя трекера анонсов tracker.gaytor.rent на tracker.gaytorrent.tw (в ссылке анонса!) используя программу утилиту BEncode Editor 0.7.1.0 Portable [En] и всё заработало, загрузка и раздача.
On the advice of a colleague from this tracker, I changed the name of the announcement tracker in the torrent file from tracker.gaytor.rent to tracker.gaytorrent.tw (in the announcement link!) using the BEncode Editor 0.7.1.0 Portable [En] utility, and everything started working — the download and sharing worked.

@snab Открываете в программе (я использовал BEncode Editor) torrent-файл и с помощью функции редактирования меняете часть адресной ссылки (announce) с tracker.gaytor.rent на tracker.gaytorrent.tw и сохраняете torrent-файл ("Save"), далее ставите на загрузку. Так работает.

Дорогой человечище! Огрмное спасибо! Магия Сработала! Загрузка пошла и раздача.
Так в чём же всё-таки проблема, почему же не меняют имя трекера сразу при формировании торрент-файла? А приходится редактировать утилитой. Или это только у жителей РФ.

I gave it a try: downloaded the program, made the edits, and saved the file—but it’s the same result: the search for peers just goes on forever. Am I doing something wrong? I made sure to delete my previous attempts.

Эта проблема не новая, лично я сталкивался с этим на других трекерах, это блокировка трекеров (сервера) анонсов (провайдер блокирует) без работы этого сервера программа клиент не может вести обмен частями файлов торрента с другими участниками обмена файлами. То же самое может не работать обмен при блокировании портов в межсетевом экране (также сетевой экран, брандмауэр, файрвол, firewall) или на уровне провайдеров интернета. Ну извините везде свои запреты, с файлообменом борются во многих странах, это всё было и будет.

Thanks. Neither the version shown in the screenshot nor the one suggested below—using ".tw:525/eb2d"—works. There was no colon (:) in the original torrent. Could it be that this address is also being blocked for me?

Sorted it out. I had to insert specifically http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:2710/ — and it started working immediately. Thanks to the authors of the posts from 2021!

@Doktop никаких дополнительно знаков я не ставил, номера порта не добавлял через знак ":", просто загрузил программу (утилиту) для редактирования torrent-файлов Bencode Editor (можно использовать программу RtoPasskeyReplacer - утилита, заточенная именно под замену пасскей (пароля) и адресов анонсеров в µTorrent/BitTorrent. Она тоже делает резервную копию перед изменением.) С помощью программы Bencode Editor в строке announce заменил только адрес сервера tracker.gaytor.rent на адрес tracker.gaytorrent.tw (!остальную часть ссылки я НЕ ИЗМЕНЯЛ!). И заново поставил файл на загрузку, всё заработало и загружается и раздаётся!!!
