Can I Delete This? Nope!

Just seeing if I can delete an entire thread, once started, rather than having to edit the title and content, if I've said something I shouldn't have.

Edit: Nope, unless I'm missing something somewhere. I can, though, edit both the title and the content.

I think, though, I can only mark it as "Solved" against a reply, not the original post.

By looking for "Mark as correct", rather than "Solved", for anyone wondering. That's possibly why I find it so hard to see it!

u can but it will take 24h after deleting. no one sees the post tho but maybe mods and admin sees. after 24h it will delete completely

I suppose I could have tried making everything blank, though it may then refuse to save, unless it can see at least one character.

Unless you 'Edit', then 'Discard'. I hadn't thought of trying that.

Nope. I get no "Delete" option on the initial post that creates the thread.

@jokuihmemies Plus, it seems to somewhat defeat the purpose of having a test area if that test area doesn't behave in exactly the same way as everywhere else.

you can only delete your post if there is a Gear Icon Option located @ top right above : Topic

@Kevin4fm It seems @jokuihmemies may be correct, and you're also correct that things don't work properly in this section. Just made a topic and I get the delete option.
