Tracker Timed Out
-
Hi,
Using qbittorrent through hide.me VPN, other trackers seem to work fine. When trying to download anything from this site, I'm getting "timed out" next to both ipv6 and ipv4 trackers.
I can visit https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd/ from the host, no problem.
Has anyone else had something similar?

@brainziac123 could be a dns issue, check if your vpn allows you to set a customer dns provider and try again.
-
@ianfontinell Not likely... If it were a DNS issue, the stmdd link for the stats page would also fail
-
@brainziac123 This is usually a sign that there is a DPI system in place, either by your provider or by your VPN provider that is blocking traffic to the tracker from a torrent client.
You can try using a different server location to see if that changes things.
-
@MrMazda Thanks - don't think it's DPI since I didn't have the same issue with transmission, I've also tried with a different server location and still have the issue!
-
And now it seems to be working, so might have been that!

Quick update: the tracker timeouts a few of you ran into have been fixed on our side. Give it another try and announcing / downloading should work again. If you still hit a timeout, reply here and let me know.
