Ratio Probrem

In simple terms, don't look at the traffic figures on the website. You need to look at the upload traffic for that torrent reported by your client. You take that number, dumb it down a bit to allow for the possibility of some lost packets and then compare that to the stats in your profile page AFTER allowing an hour or so to ensure that the client and website have had a chance to sync up.
As Kevin4fm said, in the right set of circumstances its entirely possible that the original uploader may only actually upload slightly more that the total size of their torrent IF the swarm decides that its more beneficial to share portions of the upload from leechers.
Finally, since there's a load of work going on behind the scenes as the site gets updated its entirely possible that there may be a few hiccups. If anyone doesn't want to put up with that then perhaps take a break for a week and then come back and see if things are working the way you think they should. There's also the helpdesk, which is arguably a better place to ask about this as they can see your figures. Without the actual numbers from your client and profile anyone offering help here is just guessing.

Not downloaded any torrents since sunday. so have been seeding for 4 days continually. Yet ratio stays exactly the same since sunday

@swansea1960 And that gives us nothing to work with as we don't have any info. Have you noted down how much your client has sent via the tracker since then? I have what I believe is often referred to as a "metric fuck-ton" of torrents seeding in my client that haven't produced any traffic in ages, either because there are no leechers or they are getting their packets from other more preferential uploaders.
Your actual ratio plays a factor in it too. Mine is currently 1.181. I did some quick maths and to get it to increase by just 0.001 I would need to upload approximately 160GB without downloading a single byte. In the last 24 it seems I've uploaded about 60GB and much of that comes from new torrents I was downloading at the same time while also sending parts of it others in the initial surge of leechers. By the time a torrent is 24 hours old traffic has dropped to a fraction of what it was at the start usually.
Hopefully you can see that what I'm saying is simply seeding for days on end without downloading often has minimal effect, especially if you've got a ratio that takes a lot to shift.

@frostycab it never used to be like this. ratio used to go up 1 point every 2 or 3 days at a time

@swansea1960 It quite likely did for you once. It most likely is working exactly like that for some newer members right now.
At one point you had uploaded 100GB and downloaded 100GB, and were uploading 1GB per day. So you'd go from 1:1 to 1:1.01, 1:1.02, 1:1.03 as each day passed.
But if you have now uploaded 1TB and downloaded 1TB, and still upload 1GB per day, that is not enough to even register on a daily basis. After TEN days, it would tick up to 1:1.01. (The exact maths might be wrong as I could be bothered to spend time working it out precisely, but hopefully you get my point.)

it shows your daily stats, which has much more manageable numbers to keep track of these things. if your client is reporting a upload count that you don't see reflected on there, it can be investigated more easily.Note: the daily stats fluctuate A LOT because they update each minute (meaning each time you refresh the last minute in that 24h count is dropped) maybe the man @joker will come up with a clever solution, or make update less often to make it more useful without being too inaccurate.

I really don't know what you expect anyone to say to that. I explained the most obvious factors that could account for it, but without specific information there's nothing else I could say.

I have been here 10 years longer than @ianfontinell@Kevin4fm Thats what im saying .I was the originator of the original torrent.and i only received 4gb of 580 gb of traffic something wrong about those stats dont you think
So in your torrent client (qbit, etc) it states that YOU uploaded all 580G of that torrent?

It should be noted that the greater your upload and download totals are, the more data it takes to make a noticeable difference in the ratio in terms of the actual number. This is even more the case if there is a large difference between the two numbers.
In my case, trying to get my ratio back above 8.000 is proving to take more time than I expected, but this is largely because of the fact that my upload and download totals are both well into the range of being calculated in TB rather than GB, and my download buffer is more than 4 TB. So because of this, even though I have a faster speed now than I once did, it's still taking a surprising amount of time to notice the difference.
The speed of your internet connection will also play a huge role in how long it will take to notice the difference. IF you're only uploading in KB/s, it will take a lot longer than if you're transferring in MB/s. Again, this is most especially true if your download and upload totals are rather large, and even more especially if you have a rather large difference between the two numbers.
