@frostycab That is my ultimate goal to be honest, although I was going to set that up with CRON jobs and such. Only difference though I don't run windows all my torrent clients are running in Docker on my severs.
I'm now seeing the seed box sever I have is uploading from like 3MiB/s to 20MiB/s nice speeds nothing I was able to get on my home sever with over 200 completed torrents. -
@thor9023 If you target the right type of torrents with your seedbox your ratio will soar, trust me.
As often as you can, look through the recently uploaded torrents on the site and grab the ones with only 1 seeder and at least 10 leechers. Don't worry about whether or not it's anything you want personally, because you're only concerned with ratio. The bigger the better when it comes to download size! If you've grabbed a seedbox with a decent line speed you'll download to 100% way ahead of anyone else, while also being right at the front of the queue when it comes to being an attractive uploader.
Another thing you can do once you start the torrents is to just have a quick peek at the swarm for each one to see how much anyone else already has. If you swarm is full of people who already have 80 or 90% of the total then maybe it's not worth bothering with. You want to hit the ones where you have little to no competition.
To be honest it's been so long since I had a seedbox that I can't really remember, but I reckon if you stick to that method you'll have your 996GB within days.

To clarify the reasoning in my method look at this:
The fourth torrent down is a prime target for a seedbox. Only 1 seeder and 77 leechers. If they were all to grab to whole thing from your seedbox that would be approaching 20TB! Obviously they won't all grab the whole thing from you, but getting in on this early (It's only about 30 hours old) you set yourself up for a huge amount of potential upload traffic.
The first one doesn't look too bad either, but given that it's 10 days old now you might find that while nobody has snatched the whole thing yet they might have most of it, so that one I'd check the swarm on to see if it's worth keeping it going. (In this case it's freeleech anyway so if you can grab a good chunk before the freeleech ends then you're still going to benefit.)

@frostycab I hope it will take a few days I only have 40 days left to get my ratio to 0.8 I'm scared because my account is 10 years old and I can't donate $150. I already donated $100 and used like 600 seed bonus points
I still don't know how I was able to download a non free-leach torrent when I was restricted seams unfair, the restriction said I would be unable to download anything but free-leach. My bad for trusting it I guess.

@thor9023 Maybe you started a freeleech torrent and the freeleech ran out before you finished. Any part of it after the FL ends counts against you the same as it does with any other torrent.
Anyway, keep us updated. I'd be interested to hear how you're doing every couple of days to see how it work out for you. I'm sure we'll all do what we can to help if you haven't got your technique quite right.

@frostycab I uploaded 50 Gbs in 3 the 3 hours I had the seed box running so it is looking good.

Seedbox is the key....
ive been a member since 2008 plagued with different connections sometimes fast sometimes slow.... seeding was a huge issue for me.
dudeman suggested the seedbox which i had never even heard of till i was in this forum.
I went from ALWAYS below ratio struggling to keep up - donating plenty to boost myself.
post seedbox im cruising.... i went from below to now this...
Its the only way todo it imo. And it makes the download to my home pc incredibly fast - sheilds my original download ip as well.
Note - i will still plan on donating occasionally because they do a phenomenal job running this site.

@cp2000 before seedbox i was about even at 9tb up and down. Trying to stay in good graces... but my speed wasnt the best. so just in half a month ive been able to download 4tb of stuff ive wanted and new stuff and boost my collection - a lot of past stuff i wanted for ages.
Seedbox will fix it. do it

@cp2000 I've been running a seed box for about 5 hours now have about 90 gb registered uploaded so I should be at 1.0 ratio in a few days best $5 I have ever spent LOL

@thor9023 donating in exchange for upload credit is worth it when you have a new account with very low traffic. Once your numbers go insanely high like several terabytes, it is no longer viable to donate for upload credit because it will barely add to your ratio.
Now do as others have advised you, use the seedbox wisely: look for recent torrents with more leechers than seeders, and if those are not available focus on recent torrents with the least seeders. Don't forget to check the freeelech list periodically and make sure to grab all the big collections.

@cp2000 I am now over 0.8 ratio took less then 24 hours a whole 1TB uploaded my seed box only has 750GB of storage too.

@cp2000 it was indeed the cheapest seedbox i managed to research, i haven't bought a subscription tho. does it really offer 2TB of storage and 3TB of traffic for just 6 euros? it sounds scammy lol

@ianfontinell-0 100% legit... no problems at all... I started with the 2tb 3tb upload... fixed my problem right away but then I bought more Upload data alacarte which u can do up to 10tb i think.... i did that once then i just finally upgraded to the 2tb 25tb upload which fits me perfectly. the slots were limited tho i think they created one more slot just for me because i whined about it hah.
