“I also have a [recording] that [he] told my ex-mother-in-law that even if he kills me no one can do anything to him,” Jennifer Vasquez Sura, wrote in the document she filed with the District Court of Maryland for Prince George’s County on Aug. 3, 2020.
The newly surfaced document preceded a 2021 protective order request she filed against her husband. In that document she alleged he had punched, scratched and grabbed her — with some of the alleged abuse so severe, she was left with bruises and bleeding.

Abrego Garcia’s wife’s ex[-husband] made the claim when he filed documents seeking an emergency court hearing on the custody of the couple’s two children.

USA Today released audio of Kilmar Abrego Garcia's wife, Jennifer Vasquez, pleading with a judge to get a temporary protective order against him in August 2020.
"I came to fill out a protective order. I think it was in December but I didn't show up to the court because his family, like, washed my brain and not to do it, so I didn't do anything," Vasquez says in the recording. "But after that, it was like i would call the police…I have a lot of police reports and I kept trying to get to the basement to try to open the door and then like he pushed me."
But now (2025) she blames covid lockdown.

A Portland far-left extremist accused of making violent threats against a Nevada elected official, a child and President Donald Trump is now facing a cascade of federal and state charges after authorities say he also attempted to torch a Tesla facility with a flamethrower and stole nearly $1 million from a former employer.
Travis William Juhr, 41, was indicted last week by a federal grand jury in Portland on charges of transmitting interstate threats to injure. Prosecutors say the threats targeted conservative Clark County Commissioner April Becker of Nevada, as well as a 13-year-old conservative boy who attended a pro-Immigration and Customs Enforcement counterprotest in Portland.
Juhr was a regular attendee at leftist demonstrations and riots outside the Portland ICE facility. He was often seen wearing a bomber-style jacket and was recorded on livestreams making threats to Trump supporters...
Juhr also used multiple social media accounts to threaten a child who had attended a "Patriots Night" counterprotest supporting ICE agents outside the ICE facility in Portland in November 2025.
Authorities say Juhr identified the boy after a photo of the child circulated online and began posting threats against him.
