Torrent downloading with tracker "http://tracker.gaytor.rent..." instead of "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw..."
-
My torrents as of late are listing "http://tracker.gaytor.rent:...", which is unreachable. When I change the url to "http://tracker.gaytorrent.tw:...", the torrent is able to connect. How can I change this so that my downloads automatically start with the latter tracker url?

The domain tracker.gaytor.rent resolves just fine for me. Maybe your DNS provider has blocked it?
Possible solutions:
- Configure your PC (or router) to use Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
- Add tracker.gaytor.rent to your hosts file (currently resolves to 77.247.179.57 for me):
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hostson Windows,/etc/hostson macOS / Linux (you'll need to open it as admin to edit it) - Use some kind of text-replace script to change the tracker domain in the .torrent file

adding a dns rewrite did the trick. thank you!

My pleasure. Just try not to forget that you did it because the IP could change in the future.
