HuffPost GayVoices Readers Share What Is Next For Them In the Fight For Equality
-

This week has been a pretty huge week for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights and for LGBT people in politics. Tuesday night brought us a number of openly gay members of the House of Representatives and Congress and the reelection of the first President to openly support gay rights.
We even saw a lesbian couple get engaged at President Obama's reelection party! So understandably, emotions are high and many of us let out a huge sigh of relief on Wednesday morning.
Just the same, that doesn't mean we're where we need to be yet. We still have a lot of work to do. So, we turned to our Twitter family to ask what we should focus on next (after we're done celebrating).
Below we rounded up a few of the responses we got. We want to hear from you! What's next for us? What should we be focusing on? How can we take advantage of this momentum?
