How to Record ANYTHING
-
The sure way to record anything... is to play it on your laptop or desktop, and use a CAMERA to record the screen. It's not the ideal quality, but it can be good enough. You can patch the sound in with cables to get the perfect sound.
There are many utilities for recording right off the screen. A few of them even work. But sometimes there has been something on NetFlix that I wanted to see, and it took me forever to find a way to record it directly. If all else fails, even a cell phone camera can get what you need.

@lololulu19 I have a rather interesting solution for being able to record such things. I connect my computer's HDMI port to a special pass-through recorder.
Simply put, you connect the computer's HDMI port to the recorder gadget with one cable, then attach the recorder device to a TV using another HDMI cable, and everything that passes through said device gets recorded. It works where all other forms of DRM just don't because of how it works. It's kind of VCR-esque in a way, but it's all digital.

@MrMazda That's a brilliant idea to use the HDMI port!

@lololulu19 you just want to record what is playing in your computer?
Just download OBS! no need no cables, nothing. just obs.
and if you want to focus only in one windoiw you can do that too.
