Lots of people have cancel culture embedded in laws.
As Jordan Peterson said some years ago, when he originally made the news, he was not against using preferred pronouns but he was against state mandated speech.
Strangely, you people have no problem with laws that prevent LGBTs from saying "hate speech" against believers, as long as they are not Christians or jews, while the same hate speech laws allow believers to use their religion to spew hate speech against us. This is the case in Scotland and some other European countries. You have no problem when non-whites go on anti-white racist rants, but lose your minds when a white person criticizes that non-white for their racist rants.

If you believe in God and a soul and believe the soul enters the whatever when the egg is penetrated by the sperm, then I totally understand why you'd disagree with abortion. I get it. But we don't live in a theocracy, and certainly not one dominated by one particular sect. So the question remains, when is it morally ok to abort a fetus? No one seems to be able to agree on that, But it has nothing to do with science. Science does not attempt to define when an embryo "becomes human." Science cannot prove the existence or non-existence of a "soul." That's why this is such a contentious issue.

I've never said that in my life nor know anyone who has. I admitted that this is a very complicated issue, and that I can see both sides. My personal belief is that as I will never be confronted with this problem, it's none of my business. I think women should decide this one. I didn't "skip" this. I am not an embryologist, so choose not to pretend I know. "The science is clear" does make me suspect that this was not written by an actual scientist, however. I don't think it can be determined that an eleven-week old fetus has the ability to "defend itself in anguish" when a new born child cannot do the same. Does the fetus lose intelligence as time goes on? Maybe you should add that to your research "to-do" list.
