I do love how liberals intentionally ignore a lot of history.
Sen Byrd remained a Democrat. He was besties with Biden and Hillary said that he (along with Margaret Sanger) was her hero.
Biden's 1994 crime bill and the way they talked about black people, shows how much they loved black people. Let's not forget home much they love gay people.

Clinton-era anti-LGBT and the 1994 crime laws are not "anecdotal anomalies".

I would be surprised then, that Raphjd would be supporting what "mainstream media" tells him about the crime bills effects. Trump was the first President to win after waving the Pride flag while campaigning.
Hillary was completely against marriage equality until she found out she was running against Trump. Then she made the switch to being pro-marriage equality.
