Login leads to blank page

I cannot login to the site. I have have confirmed my registration from the user registration confirmation email. When I attempt to login, I only get a blank page. I can however login to the forum with the same credentials. I don't know what to do. The rules say that I have to login within 24 hours of registration.

Have you try clearing your browser history cache:

@john32123666 I have cleared browser cache, tried a private browser window, and tried a completely different browser. Still nothing except the banner menu bar.

I have also sent an email to the help desk yesterday and have not received a reply.

@john32123666 I tried a little testing. First I clicked on the confirmation email link again and it showed that my user account has already been confirmed as shown in the screenshot below.
Then I tried the Reset Password link on the login page and it showed the error "No user with ID".
Clearly there is something wrong.
