Just curious, sometimes I see up to 4 seeders listed in Utorrent but my download can't seem to connect to them. Why? Is there anything I can adjust to encourage downloading?

@hugmebear If a user is seeding a lot of torrents and has limited upload slots you will be queued until they have a slot available, which can take minutes, hours or even days. That's the usual reason why you'll see seeders but not connect to them. You need to keep your client running so you keep your place in the queue, because each time you reconnect to the tracker you will go back to the end of the queue.

If it's not already enabled, you should enable encryption in uTorrent (Preferences > BitTorrent > Protocol Encryption). When this isn't enabled peers that require an encrypted connection won't connect to you. It's enabled by default in most clients.

Thanks, I only see Enable for outgoing but I enabled it just in case. I'll see if it makes a difference.
